Elon Musk's Beautiful Dunk on a Leftist Shows Just How Hypocritical They Can Be

I find the left’s hatred of Elon Musk such a revealing window into how empty and cult-like they can be.
They all used to like him. Why? Because he was behind things like Tesla and electric cars which fit into their worldview. You had folks like very liberal actress Alyssa Milano idolizing him, even listing him as one of the people in all of history who she’d like to have dinner with.
That was until he bought Twitter, then advocated for free speech and the importance of everyone being able to speak in the virtual “town square.” Suddenly, that made him the enemy because he believes that even those with whom he disagrees have a right to have a voice.
He was still the same guy, still the guy behind the electric cars. Yet now he was the guy they were supposed to hate. Now you have crazy folks like former magazine editor John Blumenthal who wrote an op-ed about in the Los Angeles Times that he was worried about driving a Tesla and what people might think of him for it. He seemingly bought the car to virtue signal, but now he’s worried people might think he’s embraced far-right thought.

Australia Criticized For 'Woke' and 'Progressive' NYE Coverage

Australia’s ABC network is taking heat for broadcasting a woke “LGBTQ” themed coverage of New Year's Eve.
The network had drag queens performing as well as a segment on Indigenous artists.
Another segment of the night was dedicated to the country’s WorldPride Festival.
“Our next few performers exemplify the word pride,” co-host Jeremy Fernandez said, adding “you’re an ally and WorldPride is about that too, paying tribute to the allies who stood alongside the rainbow community as well.”
Local viewers slammed the shows as “woke” and a “disgrace.”

Adios, 2022—Only 1 in 3 Americans Had 'Great' Year, but 57 Percent Predict a Better 2023

The majority of people can’t get 2022 in their rearview mirror fast enough, if you believe a poll from market research firm OnePoll which found that only 1 in 3 Americans had a “great year.” The good news: more than half also think (pray) that 2023 will be better.
With COVID (and its restrictions) still messing with our lives, Russia invading Ukraine, inflation soaring, the red wave failing to materialize, the Dow sinking, and President Joe Biden making himself a one-man wrecking crew, it’s not surprising that so many people were not marking 2022 down as their favorite year.
While I’d like to predict that 2023 will indeed be an improvement, there are many reasons to think that there are still tough times ahead. There are multiple indicators that the economy is in serious trouble, Russian leader Vladimir Putin just delivered a combative, bellicose New Year’s speech, and Joe Biden will still be the president.
