If you have been following the reporting I have been doing all along our southern border, you know I have spent a lot of time down there. In fact, by my rough estimate, I have spent a total of two and a half months down at the U.S.-Mexico border this year alone. The reason I have traveled to border towns, all the way from San Ysidro, California, to Brownsville, Texas, and many places in between, is because the border crisis the Biden administration has helped create continues to occur unabated.

The Senate and House testimony of President Joe Biden's top military brass this week has left a "very disturbing" contradiction between the words of the president and his generals, Rep. Rob Wittman, R-Va., warned to Newsmax.

After Biden told ABC News in a television interview he did not recall his military leaders advising leaving 2,500 troops to maintain stability in Afghanistan, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, White House Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, and Central Commander Gen. Kenneth McKenzie testified under oath to having done exactly that.

"What we saw was a contradiction in what Gen. Milley said, in what Secretary Austin said, and what the president said," Wittman, the vice ranking member of the House Armed Services Committee, told Thursday's "Cortes & Pellegrino."

Sen. Josh Hawley introduced a bill Thursday removing liability protections from tech platforms that harm children.

The bill would amend Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act to strip liability protections from social media services that are found to have caused “bodily injury or harm to mental health” to users under the age of 16. This allows for users who suffer harm at the hands of social media companies to sue for damages.

“Facebook has long had evidence of the harmful effects their products have on children but covered it up because it would hurt their profits,” Hawley said in a statement announcing the bill, referencing the results of a Wall Street Journal investigation earlier this month that found Facebook had researched the effects its services had on the mental health of teen users. Hawley interrogated Facebook about its platform’s harms on Sept. 21, promising “accountability.”

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley should be relieved of duty and face a Court Martial based on his testimony before the Senate and House Armed Services Committees this week.

During his testimony, Gen. Milley admitted to a disturbing pattern of leaking information anonymously to various political reporters.

“We’re also honored to be joined by one of the Marines who bravely served in Kabul during the withdrawal and helped evacuate children over the airport and over the airport wall,” Trump said at the Sept. 25 rally. “You saw him, he did a great job, Lance Cpl. Hunter Ian Clark. Lance corporal get up here!”

Clark called the moment he rescued the baby “probably one of the greatest things I’ve done in my entire life.”

“I just want to thank all the support from all y’all. It really means a lot and I’m glad to be home now,” Clark added.

This is going to be a saga, isn’t it? It’s the ‘going down with the ship’ series starring Liz Cheney. Unlike the Titanic, this won’t be quick. This will be an epic poem that will take months to detail. It’s an ongoing tale as we speak. The Wyoming Republican seems confident she can survive despite everyone in the GOP base hating her guts. She’s underwater in her home state. The only question is whether her primary challengers avoid screwing things up. The more challengers in the mix, the greater the chance she survives so that’s another thing to keep in mind. Cheney thinks she can stop the Trump takeover of the GOP though she seems to totally miss the point that this has already happened.

That’s soft coup stuff. Milley went way outside the chain of command. Even The View’s Sunny Hostin, who is as anti-Trump as they come, agreed that Milley’s actions were very coup-ish. Alexander Vindman, the man at the center of the second impeachment effort against Trump, admitted that if true—Milley should resign. Katie wrote about Milley’s treasonous actions. She also touched on Nancy Pelosi trying to usurp the chain of command as well.

This is a bad guy. Liz Cheney thinks he’s an American hero. Please, Wyoming, fire Liz.

If the three Pentagon leaders testifying before Congress this week knew that President Joe Biden's orders to pull troops out of Afghanistan were not appropriate, they should have resigned, Rep. Scott Perry told Newsmax Wednesday.

"When I was watching the hearing as a person who was honored to serve for over 30 years in uniform, it looked like the Three Stooges to me," the Pennsylvania Republican and retired Pennsylvania Army National Guard brigadier general said on Newsmax's "Wake Up America." "I will tell you what I did when they issued orders to me that I didn't feel were appropriate and would not and could not carry out, I left the military. That's the appropriate thing to do."

Over the past two days of Congressional grilling of the Biden Administration’s defense officials, there have been some Democrats who have been trying to hold them to account and asking good questions.

I reported how one of those Dems, surprisingly, was Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) who just tore into them for the incompetent way they left Americans and Afghan allies, saying there was “no one in charge.”

Another was Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA), a veteran who served in the Marines and did four tours of duty in Iraq.

Moulton asked CENTCOM Commander Gen. Frank McKenzie a terrific question — the central question behind the whole debacle — why did the evacuation begin after the pull-out of most of the troops? A completely baffling move for anyone with sense.

It is commonly accepted - even by the liberal media - that the U.S. exit from Afghanistan was a disaster. Hundreds of Americans were left behind. Thousands of cooperative Afghani partners were abandoned, many likely to be killed by the ruthless Taliban. No one on planet earth points to the American withdrawal as an example of strength or diplomatic precision. The opinion on this is virtually unanimous.

One source of disagreement however has been who is to blame. Did President Biden get bad advice from experts or did he simply ignore the advice he got? We now have a definitive answer, and it may drive the sitting President from office.

Keep in mind that then-Vice President Joe Biden’s recommendation to President Obama in May of 2011 was not to go after Osama bin Laden. Despite all Presidential military advisers recommending sending in a Navy Seal team to get bin Laden and despite the fact other members of Obama’s inner circle agreed, Joe Biden said no. Biden’s opinion was ignored and the world’s number one terrorist was ultimately subdued.

A new UN climate report reveals why this fall could be the most decisive one for the future of America.

The report, entitled “Nationally Determined Contributions Under the Paris Agreement,” assesses progress in nations’ promises to cut emissions since the 2015 Paris Climate Accord. The keyword being “promises,” not actual emissions cuts.

According to the report, even if the 197 separate national promises to cut emissions were kept, emissions would still be 16% higher in 2030 than in 2010. But of course, nations are not living up to their promises to cut emissions. So in 2030, emissions will almost certainly be much greater than just “16% higher.”
