It is impossible to avert one’s eyes from the United Kingdom’s cultural disintegration. It produces horrors that stand as a warning to all Western nations to guard their societies against their current influx of hostile foreigners.
Britain’s moral collapse has, notoriously, produced industrial-scale rape of English girls by Muslim men, mostly Pakistani. More recently, last December, it led to the videoed murder of a teenager, Henry Nowak, by a Sikh wielding the dagger of his religion.

I've long thought that when humans finally expand into space to stay, it would be the private sector, for the most part, that takes us there. There are incredible mineral resources as close as the asteroid belt, which (unlike resources found on a planet) don't have to be lifted out of a gravity well. Some of the moons of the gas giants, while still having that gravity well issue, have nearly-unlimited volatiles, like methane, and even water vapor.
There's a lot of money to be made in space, if we can just figure out how to send humans out there without having them, you know, die.
In my first major science-fiction epic, humanity has already expanded into the asteroid belt and to some of the Jovian satellites, when a French guy named Hiram Eugene Gellar invented the first faster-than-light (FTL) spaceship drive, which would be known as the Gellar Star Drive. It was a huge affair, and I admit I did some near-Star Trek-level handwaving about how it worked; the thing involved a huge mass tunnel, and something called "negative energy" to warp space in front of the ship, allowing for superluminal jumps.
Hiram Eugene Gellar didn't do that for the betterment of mankind, in this future I envisioned. He did it for personal gain. The first Gellar Drive starship was built on specs provided by Gellar, and he piloted it personally, along with his aide Edda Fauvier, to the Centauri system, where he confirmed the existence of two mineral-heavy but lifeless planets.
The Gellar Drive worked, and Gellar himself sold it to a private company called the Peebles Mining Corporation. Gellar took his massive boodle to the south of France, married Edda Fauvier, and retired to live in luxury. Peebles took the drive, immediately started improving it, and used it to develop mineral resources in nearby systems, eventually finding life-bearing planets.

SAVE America Before Excuses Become Surrender

Some things should not be complicated.
God made men and women. Children belong to their parents. Boys should not compete in girls’ sports. A nation has the right to defend its borders. Taxpayers should not be forced to reward people who broke our laws. And American elections should be decided by American citizens.
That is why the SAVE America Act should already be sitting on President Trump’s desk. There is no excuse.
Every Republican who has ever looked into a camera and promised to fight for election integrity ought to be fighting and working together to get this done. Not talking about it. Not fundraising off it. Not hiding behind process. Pass it.
Alabamians understand this because Alabamians still have common sense.
You should have to prove you are an American citizen before you register to vote. That does not require another hearing, another commission, or another strongly worded speech from a career politician.
Citizens vote. Noncitizens do not.
That is the whole point of having a country.
Washington loves to complicate what is simple. The political class benefits from confusion because confusion gives them cover. They say they support the idea, then blame the process. They say they stand with President Trump, then blame leadership. They promise courage in Alabama and practice caution in Washington.
I am tired of it.
Alabama does not belong to the D.C. political class. This Senate seat does not belong to party bosses, consultants, lobbyists, or career politicians who think our state is just another piece on their chessboard.
It belongs to the men and women who get up every morning, go to work, raise their children, worship God, follow the law, and expect the people they send to Washington to do what they said they would do.

Some things should not be complicated.

Wouldn't you imagine that with tens of millions attempting to crash our border, legal citizens would regard voting privileges as very precious opportunities demanding safeguards?
Although federal law already requires that voters in national elections be U.S. citizens, there's no requirement to provide documentary proof.
Whereas according to the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), of 36 states with laws requesting or requiring voters to show some form of identification at the polls, only nine of them insist on "strict" photo IDs such as a driver's license, state-issued identification card, military ID or tribal ID, with nine others accepting non-photo identification such as a bank statement with name and address or another official document.
The remaining 14 states plus Washington, D.C. allow casting of ballots on Election Day with various “non-documentary” ID requirements such as simply signing an affidavit or poll book.
And after-all why should this be a partisan issue that it apparently is?
Earlier this month Senate Democrats unanimously and successfully vetoed strongly Republican-backed House federal Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act legislation which would have required registering voters either to provide strict ID evidence of citizenship or sign an attestation under penalty of perjury that the applicant is a U.S. citizen.
The SAVE legislation would also have required states to share their voter information with the Department of Homeland Security to validate citizenship of registrants on voter rolls.
Four Republicans — Sens. Susan Collins, Mitch McConnell, Lisa Murkowski, and Thom Tillis — voted against the measure which attached to but voted on separately from a larger nearly $70 billion Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol funding package which was finally signed into law on Wednesday.
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., the SAVE Act amendment sponsor, responded, stating: "There's no other reason to say you don't have to have an ID. It just makes cheating easier . . .
"Who wants a noncitizen voting in our election if you're against that, that makes me wonder."

China is engaged in a covert influence campaign to prevent the development of U.S. data centers needed for artificial intelligence capabilities, according to the chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
Sen. Tom Cotton, Arkansas Republican and the panel chairman, disclosed the Chinese effort in a letter to acting Attorney General Todd Blanche seeking a federal investigation into the issue.
“Alarming reports indicate that a network of foreign actors, led by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), is attempting to manipulate U.S. policy and public opinion on data centers,” Mr. Cotton said in the letter sent Wednesday.
“Maintaining America’s AI advantage is vital to American economic strength, diplomacy, national security and military power,” he stated.
Separately, the AI company OpenAI, which runs the chatbot ChatGPT, issued a report on Wednesday stating that Chinese-linked influence operations are targeting the American public in the debate over AI, including seeking to create opposition to data centers

Three weeks ago, I wrote that SpaceX's IPO numbers were so massive they could make Elon Musk the world's first trillionaire.
At the time, many investors figured the final number would come down.
It didn't.
On Thursday, SpaceX finalized its IPO price at $135 per share ahead of Friday's Nasdaq debut. The company will sell more than 555 million shares and raise approximately $75 billion in what is now the largest IPO in history.
Saudi Aramco raised about $29 billion when it went public in 2019. That was the benchmark. SpaceX just blew past it by more than $45 billion.
The company set the price before beginning its investor roadshow and never moved it.
SpaceX reported $18.7 billion in revenue during 2025, up 33 percent from the previous year. More than half of that came from Starlink, which generated roughly $11 billion while serving more than 10 million subscribers worldwide. The satellite internet business alone produced more than $4 billion in operating income.
The company spent roughly $20.7 billion on capital expenditures in 2025, a level comparable to Microsoft, Meta, and Alphabet. After reporting a profit in 2024, SpaceX posted a $4.9 billion loss as it poured money into launch infrastructure, satellites, and artificial intelligence computing capacity.
Jim Chanos, the investor known for predicting Enron's collapse, argues the company is dramatically overvalued. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has demanded additional scrutiny from regulators and questioned some of SpaceX's projections.

The Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessent, just revealed that not only is Iran facing increased military pressure, as the United States has resumed striking military targets in the country, but that the financial pressure has been stepped up as well. He stated that any damage inflicted on Gulf countries, or any tolls charged to commercial vessels in the region, would be paid using Iranian money held in their own seized or frozen accounts.
"The Iranian regime will lose the zero-sum game it is playing. Any damage it inflicts on our allies in the Gulf will be paid for with funds extracted from Iranian Accounts," the Treasury Secretary wrote on X. "Any tolls paid to the Persian Gulf Strait Authority will be offset by funds extracted from their accounts. Every attack Iran launches will only deepen the economic and financial consequences it faces."

No, what President Trump is doing now vis-à-vis Iran would not be my strategy if I had been elected by the American people to be the commander-in-chief. My take on strategy—I’m a graduate of the Army War College, and they gave me a master’s degree in strategy—is pretty simple. First, you figure out your strategy, and then you beat the living snot out of the enemy until they give up and you attain your objective. Now, I was in the Gulf War, which is the last time we arguably did that on a large scale, and we did it very successfully. Admittedly, I was far in the rear, leading a heavily armed car wash, but I had a good view of what was going on at the VII Corps main command post. Our forces found the enemy and killed them until they stopped fighting. It’s remarkably effective when you do that.

No, what President Trump is doing now vis-à-vis Iran would not be my strategy if I had been elected by the American people to be the commander-in-chief. House Speaker Mike Johnson defended President Donald Trump's handling of the Iran conflict Thursday, arguing that the administration is balancing military pressure with ongoing diplomatic efforts despite a fresh round of U.S. strikes and increasingly aggressive rhetoric from the president.
Answering a question from CNN's Manu Raju, Johnson said Trump remains focused on securing a negotiated resolution even as tensions continue to escalate. "I think he's communicating directly with our adversaries over there. I would not put too much stock in the details of that right now," Johnson said of Trump's public statements threatening to take Kharg Island.
Johnson argued that Iran, not the United States, is responsible for prolonging the conflict.
"The president is negotiating a peace, and the Iranians continue to provoke us," Johnson said, citing what he described as Iran's firing on a U.S. helicopter.
"That was a very provocative thing for Iran to do," he said. "And the president felt he's the commander in chief, and his top advisers in the Pentagon and Joint Chiefs of Staff, they felt that it required a proportional response," Johnson said.
While defending the military action, Johnson emphasized that diplomatic channels remain open.
"Right now, they are working to have that situation resolved, and they're doing the best they can, and we have negotiators over there, our envoys who are working around the clock to bring this to a conclusion," he said.
"But the Iranians have shown, at least for the time being, that they're unwilling to do that."
Johnson urged patience as negotiations continue.
"We are hopeful that that works out. We have to allow the space to do it," he said. "We're about 100 days into this conflict, and the Congress has to allow the commander in chief to do what it is he's doing."

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, in the coming days, is expected to release declassified intelligence documents on the origin of the COVID-19 virus — a disclosure that comes after years of disputed and controversial assessments on whether the pandemic originated in a Chinese laboratory or came from a wild animal.
“DNI Gabbard is actively working to declassify information about the COVID-19 pandemic before her departure on June 30,” an ODNI official told Inside the Ring.
Ms. Gabbard has cited personal reasons for stepping down and will be replaced by William J. Pulte, the head of the Federal Housing and Finance Agency, as acting director. Mr. Pulte has been asked by the president to downsize ODNI.
The COVID-19 document release is required under a section of the fiscal 2026 Defense Authorization Act that calls for intelligence agencies to review and release information on the pandemic within 180 days. That deadline is Tuesday.
The law requires specific types of information to be made public, including research conducted at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where several intelligence agencies believe the virus leaked.
Data on research at other medical or scientific research centers in China must also be made public.
Also required are documents on China’s gain-of-function research and the goal of the research that is known to have been conducted at the Wuhan laboratory.
China’s gain-of-function research included enhancing virus transmission that could be used for both medical vaccine research and biological weapons work, according to past intelligence reports.

President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he has called off impending strikes on Iran due to the state of negotiations.
“Based on the fact that discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran have been brought to the highest level of Iranian leadership and approved, I have … canceled the scheduled strikes and bombings against Iran this evening,” he said, hours after he threatened that the U.S. military would seize Kharg Island.
“Discussions and final points have been, in both concept and great detail, approved by all parties involved,” he said, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and others.
The president did not provide details of the agreement.

Trump calls off impending strikes on Iran

President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he has called off impending strikes on Iran due to the state of negotiations.
“Based on the fact that discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran have been brought to the highest level of Iranian leadership and approved, I have … canceled the scheduled strikes and bombings against Iran this evening,” he said, hours after he threatened that the U.S. military would seize Kharg Island.
“Discussions and final points have been, in both concept and great detail, approved by all parties involved,” he said, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and others.
The president did not provide details of the agreement.

The United States is going to be striking Iran “very hard tonight,” President Donald Trump said on June 11.
U.S. forces will be hitting Iran later Thursday, Trump wrote on Truth Social at 8:22 a.m. ET.
“At some point in the not too distant future, we will be taking Kharg Island, and other oil infrastructure points, and assume total control of their Oil and Gas Markets, much like we have with Venezuela, which is working out brilliantly for both Venezuela and the United States of America,” he also said.
Trump said separately on Fox News that he would like to seize Kharg Island, a key transit point for Iran’s oil exports. “My preference would be that. I don’t know that America has the stomach for it,” he said.

The United States is going to be striking Iran “very hard tonight,” President Donald Trump said on June 11.

The State Department is cracking down on birth tourism networks in West Africa, Europe,and North Africa.
The Daily Wire reported that the agency uncovered several networks that help foreigners use fake documentation to obtain U.S. visas so they can travel to the United States and have babies on American soil to gain citizenship for their children.
Officials shut down the operations and revoked the visas. “Under President Trump, the State Department is defending the integrity of U.S. citizenship by ending illegal birth tourism schemes,” said State Department messaging viewed by The Daily Wire. “No foreigner is permitted to obtain a visitor visa for the primary purpose of acquiring U.S. citizenship for a child by giving birth in the U.S.”
The State Department identified over 400 cases since 2024 that were linked to organizations that trained people for visa interviews while also helping them arrange housing and births. Those operating the networks have been banned from the U.S. permanently. An embassy in North Africa canceled over 100 visas for the same reason.

The United Kingdom’s government-appointed terrorism watchdog is openly wondering whether President Donald Trump had a point on immigration, as the country grapples with the fallout of a migrant’s attempted beheading of a citizen in Belfast.
Jonathan Hall, the independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, acknowledged on Wednesday that recent trends of violence among immigrants “does raise the question” whether Trump was correct about the “destabilization of Europe” through mass immigration, even if one “may not agree with the language” used by the president.
“[Donald Trump] said, in perhaps rather overblown rhetoric, that there’s this destabilization of Europe, and he put an awful lot of that down to migration,” Hall said. “If [people from] certain countries are more likely either to commit very serious offenses or particular offenses, or to get involved with state threat activity, do we need to start thinking about migration now — not simply in terms of the economy and housing, but also in terms of national security?”

ROCKVILLE, Maryland — From the 17th floor of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s headquarters in Rockville, Maryland, Chairman Ho K. Nieh can see what he describes as a “memorial” to the nuclear energy renaissance that was expected in the early to mid-2000s, but that failed to materialize.
It is a third agency building, just across the road, that was erected to support nearly double the number of employees than the commission has today, as regulators expected to see a flood of requests to build nuclear reactors across the United States.
The building was never filled to its capacity and serves as a reminder for Nieh of the revival that was quickly killed by the “three F’s” – fracking, the financial crisis, and the Fukushima nuclear accident of 2011.
Now, roughly 20 years later, Nieh is spearheading the most significant regulatory changes in decades to ensure that this time, the nuclear revival won’t fall apart

Nieh’s path to leading the NRC began as a child living in New York as the son of Chinese immigrants. As he began to figure out what he wanted to do with his life, Nieh remembered watching his father work as a welder at the Indian Point nuclear power plant just 25 miles north of New York City.
Growing up, he remembered hearing about accidents at Three Mile Island in Pennsylvania or Chernobyl in Ukraine, or watching the fallout on TV, but recalled that they never struck fear in his heart.
Instead, the nuclear energy industry piqued his interest.

Rep. Claudia Tenney, R-N.Y., pushed back against concerns that U.S. involvement in the conflict with Iran could evolve into another prolonged Middle East war, telling Newsmax on Wednesday that President Donald Trump's strategy is to achieve a lasting peace rather than launching a decades-long military campaign.
Tenney said on "National Report" that Americans weary of foreign conflicts should view the administration's actions as fundamentally different from the lengthy wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
"It's not been very long. We were in Iraq and Afghanistan for over 20 years under a couple of different presidents," Tenney said. "So this is a very short-term conflict. And this is all about lasting peace. It's not a forever war."
Tenney's remarks came as some voters who supported Trump because of his promises to avoid new foreign entanglements have expressed concern about escalating tensions with Iran since the conflict began on Feb. 28.
Tenney defended the administration's approach.
"President Trump is trying to rid us of a terrorist regime that has been wreaking havoc on our own military, threatening to have a nuclear weapon," she said.
Tenney also cited Iran's decades-long hostility toward the United States, referencing the 1979 hostage crisis, attacks on U.S. personnel in the Middle East, and Tehran's support for regional terrorist groups.
"This is a regime we've been fighting for 47 years," Tenney said. "They have no problem killing their own people in the streets."

SACRAMENTO—Republican Steve Hilton secured enough votes in the race for California governor to advance to the general election in November, setting up a partisan battle with Democrat Xavier Becerra.
The Associated Press called Hilton’s advancement on June 9, a week after the primaries. Hilton held 24.9 percent to Becerra’s 27.9 percent, with 88 percent of the votes counted.
Hilton goes into the general election as the clear underdog, with the nonpartisan Cook Political Report ranking the post as solidly Democratic.
The former Fox News host ran on making California “Golden Again” by eliminating state income taxes for the first $100,000 earned, reducing regulatory burdens, expanding single family home development, and lowering gas prices by boosting oil production statewide.

President Donald Trump signed a $72 billion bill on June 10 to fund Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Border Patrol.
The measure, known as the Secure America Act, funds ICE and the Border Patrol through Jan. 20, 2029, which will be the end of Trump’s term.
Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump praised the measure and criticized Democrats for opposing it.
“We’ll give the heroes of ICE and Border Patrol—and that’s what they are ... the support and resources they need to defend our borders, protect our homeland, and to keep America safe,” he said.

President Donald Trump signed a $72 billion bill on June 10 to fund Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Border Patrol.

Manila has urged Beijing to remove a movable floating platform and related structures from Bajo de Masinloc, also known as Scarborough Shoal, after Philippine agencies publicly documented an occupied platform, new buoys, and other objects inside the contested South China Sea feature.
At a June 10 press briefing, Philippine Coast Guard spokesperson Commodore Jay Tarriela presented a monitoring timeline showing what he described as a movable floating platform, three newly installed floating buoys, two earlier buoys placed last October, an unidentified floating object, and antenna structures inside or near the shoal.

President Donald Trump's border czar Tom Homan told Newsmax on Tuesday that Democrat governors opposing the deportation of criminal illegal migrants are not acting out of compassion, but as part of a long-term political strategy to increase Democrat power nationwide.
Appearing on Newsmax's "National Report," Homan named New York Gov. Kathy Hochul and New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill as two of the Democrats fighting the Trump administration's immigration crackdown.
Asked why any politician would want to keep criminal illegal migrants in their state, Homan pointed to a couple of reasons."Number one is about hatred for President Trump," he said. "They don't want President Trump to have a win."

Lindsey Graham wins GOP primary for another Senate term in South Carolina

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) won the Republican nomination to represent South Carolina for another term in the U.S. Senate on Tuesday.
Graham led his primary challenger, businessman Mark Lynch, 58.4% to 27.6% when the Associated Press called the race with 60% of the vote counted.
First elected in 2002, Graham is the chairman of the Senate Budget Committee. Graham is also a strong ally of President Donald Trump, who endorsed him for reelection early this cycle.
“President Trump’s endorsement means the world to me. I am humbled by his faith in me as a Senator and as a friend,” Graham posted on X.

Welcome back to another "Stream of Kurtiousness!" My home state of California is a communist hellhole with fake elections. Although I've lived here for 55 years, I'm considering leaving. Why does California take weeks to count their ballots when states like Florida and Texas take one? The time it takes to count ballots is the time it takes to cheat. The longer the counting goes on, the more cheating takes place. It's a lie, a scam, and a fraud, and it's designed to prevent Spencer Pratt from exposing them. A Republican will not win in California for as long as I can see. The charm of California is wearing off, and normal people are waking up to it!

Solar panels, it turns out, contain a lot of valuable materials: Not only glass, aluminum, plastics, and silicon, but also recyclable amounts of silver, copper, and rare earth minerals. These materials aren't cheap - and, like copper wire and catalytic converters, which contain platinum, they are now becoming targets for thieves.
A recent Bloomberg piece highlights just such a problem in Chile.
This is a sophisticated, organized crime effort. They may be stealing these panels for resale, or for recycling of the valuable source materials. The why doesn't really matter; it's the what that's important.

Solar panels, it turns out, contain a lot of valuable materials: Not only glass, aluminum, plastics, and silicon, but also recyclable amounts of silver, copper, and rare earth minerals. China’s crude oil imports fell to an eight-year low in May, as refineries in the world’s largest oil-buying nation pulled back sharply during the war that began when the United States and Israel launched air strikes against Iran on Feb. 28.
The country brought in 33.08 million metric tons of crude last month—about 7.79 million barrels a day, and 29 percent less than a year earlier—according to figures from China’s General Administration of Customs. That was down from roughly 9.3 million barrels a day in April and about 11 million before the war, and the lowest monthly level since 2018.
The drop came amid the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, now more than three months old, as Beijing drew on oil it had stockpiled over years to cushion the blow.

China’s crude oil imports fell to an eight-year low in May, as refineries in the world’s largest oil-buying nation pulled back sharply during the war that began when the United States and Israel launched air strikes against Iran on Feb. 28.
The country brought in 33.08 million metric tons of crude last month—about 7.79 million barrels a day, and 29 percent less than a year earlier—according to figures from China’s General Administration of Customs. That was down from roughly 9.3 million barrels a day in April and about 11 million before the war, and the lowest monthly level since 2018.
The drop came amid the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, now more than three months old, as Beijing drew on oil it had stockpiled over years to cushion the blow.

WASHINGTON—The United States launched retaliatory strikes against Iran on June 9 after President Donald Trump accused Iran of downing a U.S. attack helicopter a day earlier.
U.S. Central Command said in a statement its “forces began launching self-defense strikes against Iran at 5 p.m. ET today at the Commander in Chief’s direction, in response to yesterday’s downing of a U.S. Army Apache helicopter. The mission is a proportional response to unjustified Iranian aggression.”
Trump had earlier said Iran was responsible for downing the helicopter near the Strait of Hormuz, and vowed that the United States would respond.
“I have just been informed by our Great Military that last night the Iranians shot down one of our highly sophisticated Apache Helicopters while patrolling over the Strait of Hormuz,” Trump said in a Truth Social post.

House passes bill to ease China’s chokehold on critical minerals supply

The House of Representatives passed a bipartisan bill to bolster federal cooperation with allies to produce critical minerals and reduce reliance on China, which has used its dominant position as leverage against the West.
The legislation, which passed by voice vote, would direct the United States to work with allies and partners to secure critical mineral supply chains and promote domestic production.
The bill, known as the Developing Overseas Mineral Investments and New Allied Networks for Critical Energies Act and written by Reps. Young Kim (R-CA) and Ami Bera (D-CA), passed by voice vote.
“Critical minerals are embedded into our daily lives,” Kim told the Washington Examiner.
