Tuberville to Newsmax: Let's Send Ilhan Omar Home

Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., said Monday that Rep. Ilhan Omar should be deported, calling the Minnesota Democrat a fraud as the Department of Homeland Security investigates her immigration history.
"If we don't make an example out of somebody that's just standing up and blatantly says she hates America, she wants the president to be dead, she backs everything that these communists talk about, and she's a fraud," Tuberville said on Newsmax's "Ed Henry The Big Take."
"And the people that she represents, they've stolen millions and millions of dollars from the American taxpayer. She hasn't said one thing about it, to condemn it. So at the end of the day, she's got to be gone."
"Our immigration system is broken, but it's not broken to the point that we can't send people home that blatantly have stolen, they're fraud," he said.
"And they lie pretty much every day. So let's send her home. You know, this is a great country, but it's not as great as it could be without her in it. We need to send her back where she came from."
Tuberville did not cite any statement in which Omar said she wanted Trump dead.
