WH's Navarro Slams Fox News for Bartiromo Firing: 'MAGA Can't Trust Them'

White House senior counselor Peter Navarro delivered a blistering attack on Fox News on Tuesday, warning MAGA viewers not to mistake the network for an ally of President Donald Trump and accusing its leadership of pushing out personalities like Maria Bartiromo who take on issues important to Trump's movement.

“The bigger story here is, forget about anybody thinking that Fox is a conservative network that's friendly to MAGA, that's friendly to Trump,” Navarro told Newsmax's “Greg Kelly Reports.”

Navarro singled out Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott, accusing her of enforcing editorial boundaries that allow the network to serve viewers conservative commentary while shutting down coverage of more sensitive Trump issues. 

“They'll feed you some red meat over there — the easy stuff, the trans stuff, stuff like that — but when it comes down to MAGA things, Suzanne Scott gets rid of everybody over there who wants to talk about MAGA issues,” Navarro said.
