Pollsters to Newsmax: 'Suppression Polls' Real, No 'Blue Wave'

Republicans could face a difficult November, but predictions of a Democratic Party "blue wave" are overblown, and some polling is being used to depress GOP turnout, pollsters Jim McLaughlin and Dustin Olson told Newsmax on Tuesday.
"It's not going to be a great year for Republicans, but it's nothing like what you're being told," Olson told "Wake Up America." "It might be bad, but it also may not be that bad."
Olson acknowledged the GOP is battling significant political headwinds, including the Iran war, its impact on gasoline prices, and voter dissatisfaction with tariffs. But he said Republicans should be skeptical of surveys painting an overwhelmingly bleak picture for the party.
