Europe’s political establishment is facing a growing nationalist backlash over years of permissive immigration policies, with young Europeans taking to the streets to demand tougher borders and an end to mass migration.
From Italy to Spain and France, demonstrations have attracted thousands of participants, ranging from conventional conservatives demanding immigration reform to openly fascist organizations embracing the symbols of Europe’s authoritarian past. While some marchers carry torches and perform Roman salutes, others are ordinary nationalists concerned about their countries’ borders, highlighting the distinction between conservative movements and extremist groups seeking to capitalize on public frustration.
And their concerns about the scale of immigration are backed by official statistics, with asylum applications in the European Union surging from approximately 260,000 in 2010 to more than 1.3 million in 2015, according to the European Council. The influx, driven partly by wars in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan, coincided with approximately 1.8 million detected irregular border crossings in 2015 alone, according to the European Council.

Patrick Allocco to Newsmax: Polls Wrong, Graham Up 3 to 4 Points

Patrick Allocco, founder of the Zoose Political Index, said Sunday that polls showing a dead heat in South Carolina's Senate race are wrong, and Republican Darline Graham leads Democrat Annie Andrews by three to four points.
Allocco made the prediction on Newsmax's "Sunday Report" two days before Tuesday's midterm elections, as a New York Times/Siena Research Institute poll showed interim Sen. Darline Graham, R-S.C., and Andrews tied at 48% each among 707 likely voters surveyed from Oct. 19-26, with a margin of error of 4.3 percentage points.
Graham was appointed to serve the remainder of her late brother, Sen. Lindsey Graham's, term.
"Right now, the polls are wrong. I'm telling you, they're wrong, and turnout right now is benefiting Graham," Allocco said.

OPINION:
In case you have not noticed, Democrats are going bananas trying to win America’s midterm elections. Leftist political mayhem has also struck other countries, but more about that later.
In Michigan, a campaign ad for Democratic Senate candidate Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed features a couple complaining about high prices. Holding a bunch of bananas, the woman tells her presumed husband to put back some eggs, asking rhetorically, “We have to set that $7 aside — for killing Palestinians?”
Then they talk about how America sends billions of dollars in aid to Israel. This is akin to saying, “The Jews are making you pay higher prices for your groceries.”

Sometimes God takes us to the edge of an abyss and bids us look in to see what awaits us if we make the wrong choices.
That was what happened in the 1930s with Nazism and in most of the 20th century with communism. It is happening with the “red-green alliance” that is smashing France and spreading across Europe like a virulent contagion.
The left was born in the fires of revolutionary France. Now, the Jacobins are back with fire and devastation.

PARIS—Tens of thousands of left-wing demonstrators marched along the eastern edge of Paris on Oct. 31, in a third straight weekend of nationwide protests marked by a Molotov cocktail attack on a gendarme, clashes in several major cities, and a call by far-left student unions for new blockades of high schools and universities starting on Nov. 3.
The Interior Ministry counted 320,000 demonstrators across France, including 70,000 in Paris, down from 410,000 the previous Saturday and roughly 550,000 on Oct. 17, when rioters looted hundreds of shops. Organizers claimed nearly 500,000 participants, including 200,000 in the capital.
According to the French Interior Ministry, 779 people were arrested nationwide, 116 police officers were injured, and 36 stores were damaged.

Amid speculation about his health, experts say that if Chinese leader Xi Jinping were to become incapacitated or worse, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) would likely plunge into a power struggle that could paralyze the regime or even lead to its collapse.
Rumors about health problems have plagued Xi since 2019 and have come to the forefront during his recent trips to the United States and India, where it appeared he had some difficulty walking.
The Wall Street Journal, citing unnamed sources, added further details about Xi’s aides planning his schedule around how far he could walk and how long he could stand, though the information remains unconfirmed.
While one’s health is a decidedly personal matter, it becomes less so in the case of a paramount leader of a highly secretive regime, where it could have far-reaching geopolitical implications, several experts told The Epoch Times.
“If he were to die or become incapacitated, then the regime would have conceivably no clear authority,” said Bradley Thayer, a fellow at the American Freedom Alliance and the author of “America’s 100 Years’ War: How to Win Against Communism.”

Don’t Trust the Polls - Make Your Poll Count
To vote or not to vote. That is indeed the question, as we head into the finality of the '26 midterm elections here in the United States.
Are you serious? Can any conscientious Christian "sit this one out"?
Sadly, there are some who may just do that, for whatever reason, and that's beyond unsettling. The only poll that counts is the vote that you cast!
Are we seeing the left’s attempt to suppress the conservative vote?
It’s all over. So, why bother anymore?

Darline Graham to Newsmax: Andrews Can't Erase Past Posts

Republican Sen. Darline Graham of South Carolina said Saturday that her Democratic challenger, Annie Andrews, is running as a moderate to distance herself from a record of "radical comments" on social media, as polls show a tight race in the final days before Tuesday's election.
"I feel like I can't run against the real opponent. They're acting like they're basically moderates, almost Republicans," Graham said on Newsmax's "Saturday Agenda."
Graham said Andrews' past videos and social media posts are still publicly available.
"You can't hide from it. You can't run from it. It's all there," she said.
Andrews, a pediatrician and former professor at the Medical University of South Carolina, has campaigned as a moderate Democrat focused on costs.
"If you care more about your bills than the politics in Washington, this campaign is for you," she wrote on X earlier this month.
Graham's campaign has spotlighted Andrews' past posts about her advocacy at the Statehouse for transgender youth.
A Graham campaign website accuses Andrews of supporting policies that let "boys compete in girls' sports" and allow children to undergo medical procedures "they can't undo."
After President Donald Trump attacked Andrews with an anti-transgender slur in a social media post this month, Andrews released a TV ad saying she opposes transgender athletes competing in girls' sports and gender-affirming care for minors.
Graham campaign spokesman T.W. Arrighi said Andrews "is openly lying about her record."
Graham, the sister of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, was appointed to the seat by Gov. Henry McMaster in July after her brother died. She defeated Rep. Ralph Norman in an Aug. 25 Republican primary runoff, but some of Norman's supporters have yet to rally behind her.
Asked whether she was ready to win, Graham said she has built "some great relationships" in her few months in the Senate.
"I love doing the job. I love representing the people of South Carolina, serving the people of South Carolina," she said. "That's where my passion is."
