Pete King to Newsmax: Cuba's 'Days Are Numbered'

President Donald Trump's comments about the United States and Cuba making a deal could mark a turning point in the six-decade U.S. effort to end communist rule on the island, according to former Rep. Pete King, R-N.Y., who predicted that the island nation's government's "days are numbered."

"The fact is, all the indicators are that Cuba is in very bad shape," the New York Republican, appearing on Newsmax's "Wake Up America Weekend" with former Rep. Jack Kingston, R-Ga., said. 

"This is largely because of the effort made by President Trump," he added. "This has been going on now for over 60 years, and I think it could be reaching a very positive conclusion for the United States."
