I don’t know the context—but it’s irrelevant in this situation. We have a pro-Trump supporter decked out in MAGA gear in what I'm guessing is the state of Florida due to the palm trees, and some lunatic tries to assault him. This MAGA supporter was asking bystanders who they were voting for in the 2024 election and why when he got attacked mid-interview. This individual was attacked for exercising his First Amendment rights, but let’s take a step back for a second.

Is this a joke?

It can’t be real, right? It’s too perfect, especially how the would-be assailant looked—some commented that the triggered snowflake was like 'Kip' from Napoleon Dynamite. Off-camera, you see the man zeroing in on this individual, describing him as a man who hasn’t lifted a weight in his life.

OPINION:

The first rule of politics is “Never fix anything.”

But just like in “Fight Club,” the second rule simply refers you back to the first rule.

Never. Fix. Anything.

Unfortunately for Donald Trump, he did not go to politician school; if he had, he would have been taught that important rule. Instead, he had to learn the hard way.

Never. Fix. Anything.

In 2016, Mr. Trump got elected president on the most outrageous and impolitic campaign promise ever. Both parties going back decades had allowed millions of illegal aliens across the border into the United States. And — as he famously observed when he announced his candidacy — they were not sending their best.

Rapists, murderers and possibly some good people, too.

Mr. Trump was immediately denounced by old political hands in both parties. The political press called him a racist. A “nativist,” they said — whatever the hell that is.

Once in office, he got right down to business building his wall and negotiating with Central American governments, threatening to cut off foreign aid and halt trade if they did not stop the flow of illegals into the United States.

He forced Mexico to secure our border from the south — thereby keeping his promise to “build a wall” and “make Mexico pay for it.” It was a “wall” as wide as Mexico is deep.

By the time the 2020 election campaign rolled around, Mr. Trump had succeeded in drawing down the illegal invasion to a trickle. It was not perfect and there were still millions of illegals roaming the country that needed to be dealt with. But Mr. Trump had fixed the most acute part of the invasion.

He had … Fixed. The. Problem.

Former President Donald Trump should ask Vice President Kamala Harris these questions at the upcoming debate:

Do you still support “Bidenomics”? The typical family is paying nearly $900 more per month than in January 2021, when President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris took office, to live at approximately the same level they were at the time. Overall, prices are up 20%. Gas is up about $1.25 per gallon in Wisconsin from four years ago. Housing is up nearly 30%. If you still support Bidenomics, how much worse will it get if we have four more years of it?

Why are you campaigning on a promise to lower prices on Day One of your presidency if you and the president can take action right now? You are the vice president of the United States. Lower taxes, less government spending, reductions in bureaucratic red tape and increased domestic energy production helped lower prices in the four years before you were in office. Why would voters not want a new president who would help lower prices again? And why would they believe that you can do it when you haven’t done so in your more than three and a half years in office?

Why are the problems with border security worse than they were four years ago? Mr. Biden appointed you as the point person on illegal immigration. Why did the Biden-Harris administration undo so many of the positive reforms enacted by the prior administration that slowed down illegal border crossing?

Why did you oppose the construction of a wall along the southern border but now support it? When you ran for president, you called construction of the wall a “medieval vanity project.” In April 2017, you said that it was a “stupid use of money” and pledged to “block any funding for it.” And in February 2020, you wrote on social media that Mr. Trump’s border wall was a “complete waste of money and won’t make us any safer.” It sounds like the change in your position is based more on the polling in battleground states such as Arizona and Nevada than a shift in policy positions.

Do you still support the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan? You said that you were the last one in the room with Mr. Biden when the decision was made that ultimately led to the death of 13 American service members.

Vice President Kamala Harris is battling to win moderate swing state voters by burying her liberal record in the Senate.

Ms. Harris served four years as the junior senator from California, establishing one of the most liberal voting records among all Democrats, including self-declared socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders.

When she became vice president in 2021, her liberal voting streak continued. She cast the Senate’s tie-breaking vote a record 33 times to confirm some of the most liberal executive branch appointees and federal judges, and to pass nearly $2 trillion in federal spending that many economists blame for driving inflation to near 40-year highs.

The website voteview.com, operated by University of California at Los Angeles, scored Ms. Harris as more liberal than 99% of the Senate during her time as a senator from 2017 until 2021.

“While Harris may campaign as a moderate, analysis of her economic record does not support that label,” wrote Judge Glock, director of research and a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute and a contributing editor at the institute’s publication, City Journal. “In her time in the Senate, Harris positioned herself on the far left of a Democratic Party already moving sharply to the left.”

The House Education and Workforce Committee is yet again doing the job the media won’t, by holding Dem VP hopeful Tim Walz accountable for his atrocious record as Minnesota governor — this time over an infamous, massive episode of COVID fraud.

Quick recap: A Minnesota charity, Feeding Our Future, took advantage of pandemic-era rules that let student-meal programs cooperate off school grounds to run as many as 250 utterly fake meal-assistance sites to siphon off close to a cool $250 million in federal aid funds.

Republican nominee Donald Trump promised Thursday that if he's elected, he'll create a government efficiency commission to root out fraud in the federal government — and confirmed that tech billionaire Elon Musk, who suggested the idea, will lead it.

"Elon, because he's not very busy, has agreed to head that task force," Trump said during an extensive policy address to members of the Economic Club of New York. "If he has the time, he'll be a good one to do it, but he's agreed to do it."

Musk, Trump added, has "given me his complete and total endorsement."

"Smart guy," he said. "He knows what he's doing."

The commission will be tasked with "conducting a complete financial and performance audit of the entire federal government and making recommendations for drastic reforms," a project that is much needed, Trump said.

"We can't go on the way we are now," he continued. "In 2022, fraud and improper payments alone cost taxpayers an estimated hundreds of billions of dollars."

The commission will act quickly to "develop an action plan to totally eliminate fraud and improper payments within six months," which will "save trillions of dollars, trillions," Trump added.

"It's massive for the same service that you have right now," he said. "Trillions of dollars are wasted and gone and nobody knows where it went."

Musk made the initial suggestion that Trump form a commission on government spending during their recent conversation on X, his social media company, and said he'd be "happy to help out" on the effort.

Thursday, he posted on X that he looks forward to serving the country and that "no pay, no title, no recognition is needed."

For years I have warned that the Chinese Communist Party has been working to infiltrate America’s society and government at every level.

The safety and sovereignty of our nation depends on our ability to counter this threat.

That is the exact message I brought to the National Governors Association as secretary of state in 2020 — an association chaired by then-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

It appears that neither Cuomo nor his successor, Gov. Hochul, took my warnings seriously.

This week, Linda Sun, an aide who had served in the offices of both governors, was charged with acting as an agent of the Chinese Communist Party.

In the unsealed indictment, it was revealed that Sun and her husband had received millions in laundered cash from the Chinese Communist Party and, in return, “worked to further the interests of the Chinese government and the CCP.”

Telsa CEO Elon Musk doubled down on his promise to help dial back on the size and scope of government should former President Donald Trump win a second term.

The Trump call to "drain the swamp" has been a common refrain since he first ran for the White House in 2016. Posting on his X platform on Wednesday, Musk wrote "I can't wait. There is a lot of waste and needless regulation in government that needs to go."

Musk was responding to a report that indicated Trump was looking to Musk to help be a part of a proposed "government efficiency commission" that would aim to audit federal agencies and identify which programs and personnel to cut.

The SpaceX CEO responded "Yes" earlier in the week in response to a post that said it was time to "shrink the government."

Vice President Kamala Harris has advocated for limits on speech, including urging former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey in October 2019 to suspend former President Donald Trump’s account, while he was still serving as president. “It’s really Brazil that I think many in the anti-free speech movement are watching carefully. If Brazil can succeed in banning Twitter from the entire country, it will be replicated. Because many hold the view from what you just heard from Vice President Harris. They view speech as a privilege. It’s like a driver’s license that they think that can be rescinded if you’re reckless,” Turley said. “And this is the ultimate destination for this movement where if they can’t convince people to give up their own freedoms to embrace censorship, they’re going to start to take sites offline to prevent people from hearing opposing views.”

A top ally of French President Emmanuel Macron privately believes that the president will be forced out of power within months, leading him to launch his own presidential campaign, according to officials who spoke to Politico.

Macron has been swept up in political turmoil for weeks following his decision to hold snap elections in July, which resulted in a loss for his party and a fractured government made up of several different parties with no prime minister, the highest public office in France aside from the president. Former French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, previously considered a close ally to Macron, made a break from the president on Wednesday, declaring his candidacy for president and confirming that he was ready to run earlier than 2027, the final year of Macron’s term. That’s because Philippe secretly thinks that Macron will be forced to step down much sooner than the end of his term, the officials who are members of Philippe’s right-wing party, told Politico. Philippe wants to “be ready” for a presidential election as soon as early 2025, party leadership said.
