Baba Amr, where 17 people have apparently been beheaded by Assad's forces
The Syrian army retook Baba Amr, the rebel-held neighbourhood of Homs that had withstood a month of rocket attacks and shelling but which Free Syrian Army fighters were unable to hold in the face of some 7,000 soldiers from the Fourth Division. Assad's security forces have just beheaded – yes, beheaded – 17 civilians in Baba Amr, according to the human rights group Avaaz. I have been speaking to Will Davis, Avaaz's media campaigner, who confirmed with me that he is "100 per cent" sure that this story is true as it's been corroborated by independent sources. In fact, he provided a list of all the victims:

We have no dog in this fight. All I know is that this could turn into another tragedy like Egypt. Any Christians in Syria need to be trying to get out because the new Islamics will be less tolerant than even Assad has been.

Beheading is the West Ally, Wahabi, Saudi way of execution after torture
of the victim, and you attribute these acts to the Syrian Army??? the
backbone of the Secular State of Syria??

Here is tha account of what has been going on in Homs:
Homs Christian Account: Ethnic cleansing of Christian Syrians; what is the Western media hiding from western public...
from the early beginning of the unrest in Syria back in March-2011,
the first slogans raised has directly targeted Christians as part of the
other minorities in Syria. Christians are considered second on the list
of ethnic cleansing after Alawis upon success of the "freedom revolution" as the western media likes to call it.
"ALAWIS TO COFFINS AND CHRISTIANS TO BEIRUT" meaning killing Alawis and departing Christians to Lebanon.
"YOUR MEN TO THE SWORD AND YOUR WOMEN FOR PLEASURE" as a direct
interpretation of the Islamic belief Christians are infidels whom
killing is a duty.. and where women are considered as captives distributed among holy mujahedeen as Booties.
These slogans raised since March-2011 were put on mute upon guidance
by "ArOor" a Muslim cleric considered as the holly mufti for the
"revolution" where he directed his speak to his followers that Christians are not targeted AT THIS STAGE...
in a clear attempt to hide the ethinic cleansing driven armed revolt.. His call was broadcasted through Wahabi's TV stations broadcasting from Saudi Arabia.
In Homs, Christians have been targeted on individual cases to instill
fear in the heart of Christians since April-2011. This has led to the
flee of Christians over months from thier main three areas in Homs: "Hamidiah" "Bustan AlDiwan" and "Wadi Alsaeh".
By Christmas 2011, more than 60% of christian families has fled thier
homes to more secure areas in Syria, mainly Damascus and "Wadi AlNasarah" translated: Vally of Christians 40 Kms to the west to Homs.
These three above mentioned areas in Homs are surrounded by Sunni areas.
These areas used to harbor the armed terrorist of AlQaeda. So these
Christian areas has been at AlQaeda disposal for use when needed.
After around a month of military control of these areas where these
fighters have had full control of the entry and exit to these areas,
Last week AlQaeda fighters has taken full hold of these areas including
deporting of remaining families and abducting their houses to be used by
families of AlQaeda fighters who has fled "Baba Amro" after the Syrian
army advancements. Also 68 bodies of slaughtered civilians (the typical
way of execution by Saudi Wahhabi followers after torture) including
Christian citizens from above areas were thrown from a truck in a Homs suburb.
Where is the Western media from reporting these atrocities???!!! is
it chosen for the Western public to support Pro-AlQaeda terrorists
marketed to them as "Freedom fighters"?

It must be true, the media campaigner of an organisation blatantly partial to the rebel side and which hates the Assad government has told me so.
Give us a break! Either get real corroboration from an truly independent, first hand source like a real journalist would or admit this is little more than a retweet of propaganda from one side, i.e., the side to whom you're sympathetic.

Yes, I'm sure he is, and the fact that it's great propaganda for "his side" didn't play the slightest part in his credulity towards the story.

Just another implausible atrocity story about a government Weiss wants to see attacked by western governments. But even if the incident did occur as alleged, why is it any business of ours, or of our government? I don't see Weiss jumping up and down about all the Africans who have undoubtedly been murdered by various state or militia forces in the last few days.

So a nasty man is doing nasty things in Syria. That's no reason to commit the West to yet another military intervention. And it's no reason to encourage the overthrow of the Asssad regime, which could be replaced by something much worse.
