Leftists used a foreign technology group’s tools to encourage crimes in the United States across multiple presidencies with near impunity. Now, they have one month to stop or face legal consequences.

The State and Treasury Departments sanctioned the Italy-based Autistici Inventati Collective as a “Specially Designated Global Terrorist” on Wednesday for providing digital services such as NoBlogs, a blogging platform that hosts numerous radical leftist sites. NoBlogs users follow a long-standing anarchist tradition of posting anonymous articles — sometimes called communiques or report-backs — that openly take credit for violent attacks or call for further illegal behavior. The A/I Collective publicly offers NoBlogs, encrypted communication, and other tools only to “anti-fascism” activists to keep their data off-grid from traditional corporate platforms and inaccessible to law enforcement, the State Department noted. 

Activists were using NoBlogs for communiques and other controversial purposes since at least Donald Trump’s first presidency, a Washington Examiner review found. The wealth of public content sparked some investigations into those posting it, but prior administrations did not take action against the overall digital network. Left-wing voices are now expressing alarm as Trump is requiring the A/I Collective’s clients to stop using its services by Sept. 25 to avoid civil or criminal penalties.

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee urged Americans to set aside fatigue over the war with Iran, saying President Donald Trump is on the verge of breaking a government that has menaced the United States since 1979. 

"I wish Americans wouldn't look at this as a fatigue," Huckabee said on Newsmax's "Ed Henry The Big Take" when asked why it matters to finish the job.

"I wish they would look at it as that the president has done something no other president has been willing to do, and that's take the fight to them."

Huckabee said the administration is squeezing Tehran on two fronts at once.

"Not only has he done that militarily, he certainly bombed them, but he's also taken steps to bankrupt them," the ambassador said. The way to topple the government, he said, is to weaken it militarily first: "Now, he is in the process of decimating them economically."

"When that all comes together, I'd like to believe the American people might be able to see that what the president has done is realign the world stage, and he's taken out a big danger, not just to Israel," Huckabee said.

The ambassador, a former Arkansas governor and Republican presidential candidate, said the threat is aimed squarely at the United States.

"Iran's threat is not to Israel. It is to America. They've been saying it for 47.5 years," he said. "We need to wake up and understand that they've always targeted the red, white, and blue."

He added: "This president, thank God, is finally saying enough of this. After 47.5 years, it's time for this regime to start acting like a civilized country."

The reference is to the 1979 Islamic Revolution, which brought down the U.S.-backed shah and was followed by the seizure of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran and the 444-day hostage crisis.

The war began Feb. 28, when U.S. and Israeli forces opened an air campaign that killed Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and other senior Iranian figures. More than six months later, there is no ceasefire. Adm. Brad Cooper has said U.S. forces struck more than 8,000 Iranian military targets, including 130 vessels.

The economic campaign Huckabee described has intensified in recent weeks, with new sanctions announced in August targeting Hezbollah and Iranian oil revenue. 

The fighting has carried costs at home. Researchers at Brown University estimate that U.S. consumers have paid about $100 billion more for gasoline and diesel since the war started, or roughly $760 per household.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Likud party are showing signs of renewed political strength ahead of Israel's Oct. 27 election, with recent polling indicating that the longtime leader's broader right-wing bloc has gained ground on the opposition.

A new survey published by Israel’s Kan public broadcaster showed that parties supporting Netanyahu are projected to win 52 seats in the 120-member Knesset, compared with 51 for the opposition bloc.

Arab parties were projected to receive 13 seats, while a newly formed, non-aligned party would receive four.

The poll was conducted by Kantar among 551 respondents and had a 4.2 percentage-point margin of error.

The result represents a notable change after months in which Netanyahu’s political camp generally trailed its opponents.

South Korean intelligence assesses that North Korea appears to be positioning Kim Jong Un’s daughter as a possible successor, raising the prospect of a fourth generation of family rule in Pyongyang.

Across the border, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Xi Jinping is approaching the party’s 2027 leadership cycle with no apparent successor after breaking with several succession conventions developed in the post-Mao period.

Veteran China analyst and Epoch Times columnist Heng He suggests that the contrast with North Korea exposes a persistent weakness in the CCP system: how supreme power changes hands when neither heredity nor competitive elections determine the next ruler. An Amazon cargo plane went off a runway at Miami International Airport on Sept. 6, hitting multiple vehicles and leaving at least five people dead.

Miami Mayor Eileen Higgins said in a news conference that five more people are injured.

“Tonight our entire community is joined in prayers and grieving for those who are affected,” she said.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said in a statement that “21 Air Flight 7598 overran the runway after landing at Miami International Airport around 2 p.m. local time.”

The Boeing 767-300 cargo aircraft left Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico, it stated. The agency is currently investigating the matter.

Commentary

Dress codes are back. In schools, offices, and even parties, they are popping up everywhere. The days of “You be you” are over as we’ve come to realize that there is a certain value in decorum. Equally, letting it all hang out drags down everything from education to work to entertainment. We seem finally to be done with that deeply regrettable experiment.

And yet that leaves us with a problem. Most of us don’t really know what dress codes are. School uniforms are easy enough. It gets complicated after that. This is a particular problem for Americans for historical reasons.

As Chinese leader Xi Jinping’s visit to the United States approaches, U.S. President Donald Trump has downplayed tensions between the two countries in his recent remarks.

Analysts who spoke to The Epoch Times said it showed Trump’s diplomatic maneuver to secure big orders from China. 

Trump told reporters on Sept. 4 that he will hold a formal state dinner in honor of Xi on Sept. 24 when the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader visits Washington later this month.

“We’re going to have a state dinner, and we’re gonna—we do great things with China, we’ve been doing very well with China,” Trump said.

As we approach the all-important midterm elections and Donald Trump prepares to take the stage at the first-of-its-kind GOP midterm convention, which convenes Wednesday in Dallas, Texas (I will be there!), the president took a confident tone as he posted to social media this Labor Day Monday. 

To the radical leftists who have all but taken over the Democrat Party, he had a message: Haven’t you learned yet that I’m a winner?

If he’s wrong, and the Democrats take back either the House, the Senate, or both in November, they will do everything in their power to undo his agenda and investigate him six ways to Sunday. And if they are in a position to, they are all but certain to try to impeach him again.

Every election is presented by politicians and the media as the “most important in our lifetimes,” but in this case, it certainly comes close, although I would argue that the 2024 vote saved our country at least temporarily from the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris Great American Collapse.

Oil prices could go down to $40 or $50 a barrel "on the other side" of the Iran conflict, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said in a weekend interview, as supply coming on that's currently constrained is able to flow freely.

An end to that conflict seems closer than ever due to the success of Operation Economic Fury and this weekend's invocation of "Chicago rules" by CENTCOM in response to Iranian missile strikes on ships in the Strait of Hormuz (which Streiff expertly covered here). After sinking three (empty) Iranian tankers in response to missile launches targeting two of our ships, CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper said:

“Let the message to the IRGC be clear: If you shoot at two of our ships, we will impose an even higher economic cost —taking out three of yours. We will not hesitate to defend American forces, and if necessary, destroy Iran’s limited and exposed oil fleet.”

Bessent told Fox News' Lara Trump that the United States is in control of the Strait of Hormuz, and that because "the oil producing nations of the gulf are actually building alternative pipeline routes that will no longer entail oil going through the Strait of Hormuz," Iran won't be able to threaten their neighbors or create a chokepoint in the future.

As a result of the successful blockade, Bessent reports that Iran only has about "30 million barrels of crude oil left that China hasn't bought," and once that supply has run out "there will be no problem with China buying because they have no product.”

Germany has been dangerously close to failed-state status in recent years. The nation was once an industrial powerhouse, not just during World War II and the years leading up to it, but before and after. Germany is also a country with a great martial tradition and a long history - all of which some recent German leaders, like the unfortunate Angela Merkel, seemed determined to discard.

Things may be changing now for Deutschland. The "far-right" Alternative für Deutschland (Alternative for Germany, or AfD) party has been winning elections, and now, on Sunday, they may win an outright majority in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt.

A political earthquake is brewing in Germany's east as working-class and young voters appear set to deliver an unprecedented victory for the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party in Sunday’s state elections in Saxony-Anhalt.

The AfD, which was famously backed by Elon Musk in last year’s national election, has been criticized for being pro-Russia and was accused of being a "right-wing extremist endeavor" by Germany’s domestic intelligence office, has the chance to become the first party outside the mainstream center-left Social Democratic Party (SPD) or center-right Christian Democratic Union and their Bavarian sister party, the Christian Social Union (CDU/CSU), to win an outright majority in a German state parliament, or Landtag, since World War II.

"The reason Saxony-Anhalt matters," foreign policy expert and author Daniel Schatz, who holds a doctorate in political science from Berlin's Humboldt University, told Fox News Digital, "is that the AfD is no longer just knocking on the door of power. It may be close to kicking it open." 

Immigration and energy are key AfD issues, among other things. Under Chancellor Merkel, the gates were thrown open to all and sundry; there are 1.3 million "refugees" from Syria alone in Germany, and the AfD is making a platform plank out of sending them back and clamping down on immigration from that part of the world.
