Mike LiPetri to Newsmax: Vote GOP to Stop Socialism

Former New York state Assemblyman Mike LiPetri told Newsmax Friday that the way Americans can stop socialism from spreading is by turning out at the ballot box.
LiPetri, a Republican running in New York's 3rd Congressional District, is seeking to unseat Democratic Rep. Tom Suozzi in a rematch of their 2024 contest.
The district stretches from parts of Long Island into northeast Queens and is expected to be closely watched as Republicans and Democrats battle for control of the House.
"It's important that Americans wake up by voting Republicans. We are seeing what is happening over in the city of New York with this socialist surge that is hijacking the Democratic Party," LiPetri said on "Rob Schmitt Tonight."
"And those Democrats that are saying nothing are spineless. The only way to silence these socialists is by Republicans winning this November."
