RFK Jr.: Fauci 'Knew That He Was Lying'

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Friday that newly disclosed private communications from Dr. Anthony Fauci show the former government infectious disease chief knowingly misled the American public during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"He knew that he was lying, and there was something about his character that made him feel that that was OK," Kennedy said on "The Alex Marlow Show."

Kennedy, who wrote a book sharply critical of Fauci before joining the Trump administration, said the communications largely confirmed his previous allegations but that seeing Fauci's private and public statements juxtaposed remained "really bracing."

"There was just this massive delta between what he was telling himself every day and then what he was telling the country," Kennedy said.
