Over 13M watched first impeachment hearings; Fox News No. 1

More than 13 million Americans tuned in to watch the first day of public hearings in the House impeachment inquiry into President Trump, according to data released Thursday by Nielsen.
The ratings service said a total of 13,098,000 Americans watched the testimony of Ambassador William Taylor and Deputy Secretary of State George Kent, topping the 12.9 million who tuned into Robert Mueller’s testimony on July 25, Deadline reported.
The Fox News Channel placed first against other cable and broadcast networks with 2.9 million viewers.
MSNBC had 2.7 million viewers, ABC had 2 million and CBS was next with 1.9 million.
CNN was in fourth place with 1.85 million and NBC — which also operates MSNBC –was last among the major news players with 1.7 million.
