A Fox legal panel reacts on 'Fox & Friends: Weekend' after former Ukraine Ambassador testified on Capitol Hill Friday.
Fox News legal analysts rejected the validity of House Democrats' impeachment inquiry after former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch testified before Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and the House Intelligence Committee on Capitol Hill last week.
Appearing on "Fox & Friends: Weekend" with hosts Ed Henry and Lisa Boothe on Saturday, Senior Legal Adviser for Trump 2020 Campaign Jenna Ellis Rives said what the American people saw in the impeachment hearings "is that the Democrats actually have zero evidence."
Rives said, "What we have right now is the burden of proof on the Democrats and they can't show it."
The Democrats' probe was initiated after a whistleblower complaint to the intelligence community inspector general about the president's July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenksy.

On the call, Trump pressed Zelensky to open an investigation into Ukrainian election meddling in the 2016 presidential race and into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine.
