Spot the difference
A newspaper has apologised for editing Hillary Clinton out of the famous 'situation room' picture.
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been edited out of a picture showing senior White House staff watching live vision of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden.
Mrs Clinton watches almost in shock, her hand clasped across her mouth, but that dramatic element is missing from a copy of the picture published in an ultra-Orthodox Jewish newspaper in New York.
When it released the image of the group watching the video in the Situation Room, the White House said the "photograph may not be manipulated in any way", but various versions have been reproduced.
But in the Hasidic newspaper's men-only version, Mrs Clinton and counter-terrorism director Audrey Tomason have been removed, sky.com reported.
The Brooklyn-based newspaper Der Tzitung excludes images of women because they could be considered sexually suggestive.
Jewish Week's Rabbi Jason Miller wrote: "Der Tzitung edited Hillary Clinton out of the photo, thereby changing history.
"To my mind, this act of censorship is actually a violation of the Jewish legal principle of g'neivat da'at (deceit)."
The doctored photograph has now gone viral, with many bloggers outraged at its affront to women.
Defending its position, newspaper staff released a statement in which they said: “In accord with our religious beliefs, we do not publish photos of women, which in no way relegates them to a lower status...
"All Government employees are sworn into office, promising adherence to the Constitution, and our Constitution attests to our greatness as a nation that is a light beacon to the entire world.
"The First Amendment to the Constitution guarantees freedom of religion. That has precedence even to our cherished freedom of the press! … Because of laws of modesty, we are not allowed to publish pictures of women, and we regret if this gives an impression of disparaging to women, which is certainly never our intention. We apologise if this was seen as offensive.”

Gần đây đã có những hình ảnh mà nhiều người đã cho là "ngụy tạo", "giả dối", "lừa bịp" CÓ MỤC ĐÍCH qua cái chết của "trùm khủng bố" 911 Osama bin Laden.
Thế giới này đã có quá nhiều trò dối trá lừa bịp mà những kẻ chính nhân, có đạo đức, tư cách không bao giờ cố tình tạo ra để gạt người.
Tấm hình trên từ "nguyên thủy" đã xuất hiên trên báo chí và hầu như cả thế giới đều ghi nhận, theo các anh chị, độc giả trên thế giới có cần thêm những tấm ảnh mang tính cách "ngụy tạo", DỐI TRÁ, LỪA BỊP có chủ ý ???
