Let's Defend All America Stands For - While There's Still Time

President Donald Trump comparatively recently declared, on Truth Social, "America the Beautiful will NEVER be a Communist Country!!!"
While this sounds encouraging, taking a step back it's actually horrifying that a U.S. president even needs to say this.
In 1950, 1980, or even in 2005 - it would have been outright unthinkable.
But now we see communists openly revealing and shouting their views, then winning primaries and elections in New York, Los Angeles, D.C., Seattle, parts of Colorado, Michigan; Portland, Oregon, and Maine - as well as in a growing number of places . . . right here in the United States.
If we aren't concerned about this, we should be.
Actually we should be alarmed.
Are you at all concerned about the impact of even one unfortunate election giving national power back to Democrats?
You should be.
Why?
An appreciable number now uphold and adopt communist political platforms.
Yes friends, communism is already here, in America.
Once it's in elected office, it's not leaving.
The condition of American cities helps clarify this point for us. The open homelessness and drug addiction, the excused crime, the defunded and demoralized police, the sanctuary for "migrant" felons, the elimination of the middle class — is classic communism.
"Democratic Socialism" – it’s nothing more than left wing sloganeering employed to seduce an increainsgly uninformed and gullible electorate.
Let's turn our attention to the recent Los Angeles mayoral race.
Today's American communists are worse than the Soviets could ever hope to be.
They seek to obliterate Jews, first politically, then literally.
Now, consider greater New York City, with the city threatening to seize private property as well as seeking to take over the food supply.
Will sharia law be offered as a bonus, next?
This sin;t civilization, it's a nightmare in the making, and concurrently spreading, much like a malignancy in the remnants of what used to be humankind's greatest civilization.
America may never be a communist country, President Trump.
But its big cities, and some entire states, already are.
"This is a time to rediscover the indomitable spirit that built our country and all that will ensure America always remains the most exceptional nation on the face of the Earth,” said President Trump in a recent speech.
I share the sentiment.
But . . . the rediscovery President Trump speaks of won't happen without a massive intellectual and psychological reversal in the minds of many Americans.
Today, millions observe the wealth and prosperity of America, but only see what's missing.
They have no clue what made all the prosperity and technology possible. They only wonder why it's not easier to get "free stuff" without having to work for it or contribute to society.
This "chip on the shoulder" psychology makes millions of modern Americans (especially young ones) vulnerable to the toxic, yet seductive, snake-oil of socialism.
Let;s not delude ourselves, as we stand, socialism is the way of the future, not because it’s right or deliver plenty, but simply because annoyed and resentful people have been relentlessly propagandized into thinking there is no alternative.
You cannot talk people out of their resentment.
You cannot shame people into rational thought. In fact, the resentful and envious are the ones who shame the ones they think are better off — blaming "racism," "stolen land," insensitivity to the transgendered, climate change, and a plethora of other ridiculous, irrelevant adopted justifications.
Growing numbers of our fellow citizens are failing to see that the very things they're abandoning: capitalism, economic freedom, the moral code of individualism, etc. — are in fact the fundamental bedrock of wealth, prosperity, and innovation.
Yet they feel entitled to them, through no exertion on their part!
On our present course, the catastrophe will - for upcoming generations - not only be economic and political, but crushingly psychological.
As a result the psychiatric industry will be unable to fix it.
Why?
Because it's a spiritual calamity in the deepest, most human sense.
Prior to the advent of Barack Obama and his allies, America was doing great.
But we cannot survive the onslaught of collectivism and statism, especially in blue states.
This writer remains unsure who's doing more damage: The people who applaud, tolerate or support the growing totalitarianism in our country; or the equally foolish people (often conservatives, even MAGA types) who espouse, "It can’t happen here. God won’t let it. Trump won’t let it. Pray, and all will be well."
But it is happening all around us. Self-delusion, minimization and denial are not a pathway to victory. Facts are facts, and facts can neither be wished nor prayed away.
Read the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Here's what you won't find in those Founding documents:
* Socialism
* Free healthcare
* Free college tuition
* Free sex changes
* Guaranteed outcomes
* Government-mandated happiness
* "Affordability."
* "Social and racial justice"
What you will find are the rights of the individual, and the duty of a government to protect those individual rights.
That's it. That's everything. The answer is simple. It's called freedom, which can only mean the answer to our present political crisis has been there all along.
Let's get to work defending our nation
