With the price of oil decreasing worldwide, even the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is seeking alternative sources of income to continue their violent and devastating jihad. According to Middle East news media on Thursday ISIS is now involved in a lucrative human organ trafficking enterprise to fund terror across the Middle East. And its donors aren't volunteering their organs for harvesting when they pass away. The organs are being forcibly removed from "donors" still breathing.
ISIS, which was estimated to bringing in at least $1 million each day mostly through sale of oil from the fields they occupy as well as financial contributions from the group's Islamist followers, is reportedly filling its coffers with money it makes through human trafficking and drug smuggling. However, it was discovered by the European news media on Saturday that ISIS recruited sympathetic foreign doctors to harvest kidneys, livers, hearts and other body parts not only from fighters killed in combat but also from living prisoners including children abducted from the Shi'ite Muslim or Christian populations in both Iraq and Syria.
According to Al-Monitor and other news sources, ISIS terrorist organization leaders initiated a highly-sophisticated organ-smuggling division whose operatives sell human hearts, livers and kidneys within the international black market. "It's the epitome of human depravity being practiced by men -- and some women -- who profess to be deeply religious. Once again, these Islamists are show their ability to rationalize the most deviant behavior while maintaining the veneer of devotion to Allah," said a former police advisor who served in Iraq during the Bush administration, Bernie Kipplinger.
In addition to their involvement in organ harvesting and trafficking, ISIS is behind the sale of Syrian women and girls for forced marriages and to be used by sexual predators as unpaid prostitutes or concubines. One of the lucrative ISIS enterprises is the sale of young girls, as young as 10-years-old, to wealthy Arab businessmen and government officials from different Middle East countries.
Some of the women and girls being trafficked are those who voluntarily emigrated from Western nations such as the United Kingdom and the United States, according to reports. For example, Muslims in Great Britain assist teenagers in getting passports and money in order to travel to ISIS controlled locations in Iraq or Syria. While most become de facto concubines for the jihadists, others have carried out terrorist operations including suicide bombings.
