The latest amateur video to emerged from Syria is purported to show ongoing violence in Homs as well as the capital Damascus

Flames and black smoke were seen rising from what was reported to be a shop on fire in the central city of Homs on Wednesday.
According to the caption posted with the footage online, the building was shelled by government forces who are seen moving about the city in a further clip.
In another part of the city, a group of men were filmed trying to retrieve a body from the street whilst apparently coming under the threat of fire from security forces.
The body was eventually pulled off the road when two men reached him by crawling on their stomachs.
In a similar scene in the capital Damascus, video dated Wednesday apparently shows a woman lying injured in the street as a group of men attempt to rescue her from danger.

As the violence continues in Syria, Human Rights Watch issued a report on Thursday alleging that dozens of Syrian military commanders and officials authorised widespread killings, torture, and illegal arrests during the nine months of anti-government protests.
The 88-page report by the New York-based group is based on more than 60 interviews with defectors from the Syrian military and intelligence agencies.
It identifies 74 commanders and officials behind the alleged abuse.
President Bashar al-Assad's regime claims armed gangs and terrorists are behind the uprising, not protesters seeking freedom and reform in one of the most totalitarian regimes in the Middle East.
The UN raised its death toll for the Syrian uprising substantially this week, saying more 5,000 people have been killed since the start of the protests in March.
