Britain’s ambassador to the U.S. said he would resign over the diplomatic firestorm caused by the leak of secret cables in which he criticized President Trump’s administration as dysfunctional.
Ambassador Kim Darroch’s decision on Wednesday came after Mr. Trump lashed out at him on Twitter and after Britain's next likely leader declined to support the envoy.
