Hong Kong Protesters Take Their Grievances to City’s Airport
Weeks of upheaval begin to take toll on tourism and retail sectors

HONG KONG—Travelers to Hong Kong were greeted by more than a thousand black-clad protesters, as antigovernment demonstrators took their grievances to the city’s airport ahead of another weekend of planned unrest that is starting to hurt the city’s economy.
Eight weeks of social upheaval in Hong Kong, sparked by a proposed bill that would allow criminal suspects to be extradited to China, is taking a toll on tourism and retail sectors in the semiautonomous region that is already suffering from trade frictions between the U.S....
