Barcelona terror attack linked to prior deadly explosion: police

The Barcelona van attack has been linked to a deadly explosion that happened in the city the previous day, authorities said.

A senior police official told the Associated Press on Thursday afternoon that the two events were connected, though it’s unclear how.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the van attack, in which 13 people were killed.
