As a member of Congress, Rep. Maxine Waters took an oath to defend the Constitution. When she risked inciting mob violence by telling a crowd of protestors, "We've got to get more confrontational," Waters may well have violated her oath. Writing for The Epoch Times, Harvard professor Alan Dershowitz claimed her tactics were reminiscent of those used by the Ku Klux Klan.

By making comments encouraging the worst in protestors, Waters did the opposite of what we expect from our elected officials. Instead of being a peacemaker, she risked whipping a crowd into a frenzy of rioting and violence. In doing so, she may have violated the Sixth Amendment to the Constitution.

According to The Washington Times — also known as the Good Times — last week the Biden administration made plans “to offer grants for U.S. history classes that teach critical race theory and the ‘1619 Project,’” which is a confection of The New York Times. Both critical race theory and the 1619 Project are based on the fundamental insight that slavery is, according to The Washington Times, “the centerpiece of the American narrative.”

Now, aside from the fact that there is not much a historian can say about people living in forced servitude for roughly 246 years, beyond that it was one of the gravest injustices in human history. Slavery was wrong when it was practiced here, and it took the Civil War to eliminate it. It has been wrong when it has been practiced in other countries, and it has been practiced in many other countries. Finally, it will be wrong if it is ever tried again, which I believe it has been tried again. Consider the plight of Uighurs in China.

Of course, there is another problem with critical race theory and the 1619 Project. They are based on fantasies. They are based on such exaggerations as the argument for “systemic racism.” The presidency of Barack Obama proved systemic racism is an exaggeration as does the presence of Black people in both political parties at pretty high levels.

Let's talk about Climate Czar John Kerry and his friends.

Kerry appears to be a lot more comfortable with people like Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif than people like Donald Trump.

Kerry's now in a bit of trouble after a three-hour conversation between Zarif and an Iranian economist Leaked out to the press.

Democrats fighting an audit of Arizona's election results is not only an admission of using "unconstitutional" election processes, but it shows the Democratic Party "has gone absolutely insane," says former President Donald Trump.

"The radical left Democrat Party has gone absolutely insane in fighting the forensic audit of the 2020 presidential election Scam right now taking place in the Great State of Arizona," Trump wrote in a statement to Newsmax from his Save America PAC. "They sent a team of over 100 lawyers to try and stop it because they know what the result of the Arizona Senate sponsored audit will be — and it won't be good for the Dems."

Trump stressed transparency through an independent audit should be a good thing for American democracy, but instead Democrats are ostensibly showing intent for a cover up, he added.

The debate over the 2020 election has been granted new life, as Arizona state senate Republicans have successfully managed to secure an audit that will recount all the ballots cast in Maricopa County, as well as forensically audit the voting machines.

The audit began Friday and in short order, Arizona Democrats filed a lawsuit to pause it, citing concerns it would cause “irreparable harm to the integrity of Arizona’s election systems” by revealing private voting information.

The judge in the case — a Republican appointee who has since recused himself due to a professional relationship in his office by one of the attorneys filing the suit — agreed to pause the audit if Democrats posted a $1 million bond, which they declined to do.

Now a new judge has been assigned and a hearing is scheduled for Tuesday morning. And all sides, including former President Trump, have begun to weigh in. Meanwhile, the audit goes on.

Sen. Marco Rubio, Florida Republican, criticized Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg for allegedly asking Chinese President Xi Jinping to name the tech titan’s baby.

In an editorial ripping corporations for cozying up to China, Mr. Rubio highlighted an unusual request he said Mr. Zuckerberg had made to China‘s leader.

“Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in 2013 reportedly asked Xi Jinping to name his unborn child (Xi declined), and [this] tech giant would soon adopt the Chinese strongman’s values when it came to free speech,” Mr. Rubio wrote in the New York Post editorial.

The BBC recently called on Black former Tucson law enforcement officer Brandon Tatum to comment on the Chauvin conviction, especially in light of Biden’s claim that "systemic racism . . . is a stain on our nation's soul."

Tatum told the BBC that, "President Biden is an idiot in my personal opinion."

"We don’t have a problem with racism in our country," he added. "We have a problem with people not following the law. We also have a problem with politicians making up things so they can get re-elected.”

The host countered that the rate of Blacks being killed by police is higher than that of whites, and asked "if that isn’t a systemic racism problem."

Tatum shot back that twice as many whites are killed by police than are blacks. He added that although blacks make up only 13% of the population, they commit over half of the violent crimes, including murder.

Stop lying. Stop insulting our intelligence. I may have been born yesterday, but I wasn't born in the past 15 minutes. I'm an adult. I know when I'm being conned. Here's what really happened at the Derek Chauvin trial: A guilty man was railroaded.

I'm no fan of that former police officer. He's clearly a bad guy, a bully. When he had his knee on George Floyd's neck, he passed the line no cop should ever pass.

On the other hand, George Floyd was no hero. He was a lifelong criminal. When he died, he had just committed a crime and resisted arrest, and his body was filled with fentanyl. I have no sympathy for criminals, or drug addicts. And I always support cops. I appreciate the courage it takes to do their job. I think cops are heroes. So, it pains me to say that Derek Chauvin went too far that day.

The Biden Administration is “the most anti-American presidency in our country's history," former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Sunday.

Speaking on “The Cats Roundtable” radio show on WABC 770AM hosted by John Catsimatidis, Gingrich said he was “appalled at the kind of hostility that we are getting” about the United States from President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Following the murder conviction of Derek Chauvin, Gingrich said Biden and Harris, “had an opportunity to come out and say, ‘look, the system works, here’s a policeman who’s now been convicted on all three counts. We can feel good about how America deals with these kinds of issues.’ Instead they came out and went on a rant about institutional racism. They could not have done a better job of tearing down America if they were Chinese communist propogandists.”
