Meng Wanzhou was detained by immigration officials in Vancouver shortly after stepping off a Cathay Pacific plane with a companion last Dec. 1 and questioned for three hours before being told she was being arrested.
Immigration officials asked her about the reasons for her trip, including planned stops in Mexico and France, and her ties to Canada.
