Former Pakistan Prime Minister Sharif Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison on Corruption Charge

Court also imposes $36 million fine and bars him from holding office for 10 years

ISLAMABAD—Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was sentenced to seven years in prison by a Pakistani court Monday after being convicted in the second of three corruption cases against him.
