ACCORDING to the pro-opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, 19 civilians were killed in an air strike by government forces on the city of Aleppo in Syria's Aleppo governorate on 7 January. Casualty figures provided by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights cannot be independently verified but have been assessed to be the most reliable.
