Supporters of Donald Trump celebrated Friday when Judge Juan Merchan ruled that there would be no prison sentence or any other penalty issued regarding his criminal conviction. This ruling may have spawned false confidence in MAGA supporters.
Retired Harvard Law School Professor Alan Dershowitz, a lifelong liberal, told the American Tribune that Merchan's rulings in the Trump trial was "Stalinism."
