The Hoaxes, Scandals and Mysteries Donald Trump Could Blow the Lid Off of in His Second Term

When we talk about "lids" these days, it's usually in the context of the Biden White House calling a press lid when the enfeebled president needs to tap out for the day. Sometimes it's in the morning, sometimes it's in the afternoon, sometimes it's for the entire day and sometimes it's for days at a time.

There's another kind of "lid" we need to be talking about, though, and that's the lid the feds have firmly placed atop some of the nation's biggest hoaxes, scandals, and mysteries. We're told that these things are a matter of national security —even though some are over sixty years old and the players are long dead — and that's why we're not privy to the details.

That was then and this is now. Donald Trump, who earned a second trip to the White House, in part, because of voters' frustrations with being repeatedly lied to by the federal government, has said he's willing to blow the lid off of some of the biggest stories of the last century. We're talking JFK assassination and UFO-level declassifications — the really, really good stuff.

And it's not just the president-elect who would like to publicly unmask the bad guys; it's his appointees, too. Kash Patel, Trump's pick to head the FBI, has been very vocal about unveiling who was behind things like J6. It's going to be a fun four years.

Here are some of the stories Trump 2.0 could lay bare for the world to see.

The JFK Files

During his first administration, Trump did release some of the documents surrounding John F. Kennedy's assassination, but, as he told the "All In" podcast back in June, some of his first-term advisors told him to put the breaks on additional releases.
