Rep. Higgins: DOJ Hiding Evidence of Jan. 6 Undercover Agents

Rep. Clay Higgins, R-La., said the Department of Justice is "zealously protecting" digital evidence that shows hundreds of undercover law enforcement officers participated in the U.S. Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021.

"To the extent that I've been able to put my own two eyes on some of that evidence, there's a common thread that is woven amongst the evidence that the DOJ conceals," Higgins told The Washington Times.

"I have had access to some of the discovery evidence that that that some smart attorneys have forced the DOJ to release within the parameters of that criminal case," said Higgins, a former law enforcement officer and Army veteran who has been helping some family members of Jan. 6 defendants.

"It's real hard to get to get a look at it, and the reason is quite clear," he added. "They're not sharing it with the world because it's exculpatory. It shows evidence that contradicts the narrative that has been presented by the mainstream media."
