Peter Navarro's Sentence Proof of 'Double-Tiered' Legal System

Former Trump White House adviser Peter Navarro's four-month prison sentence for defying a congressional subpoena is just the latest example of a "double-tiered" judicial system that's used to "settle political scores," legal analysts say.
Navarro received the sentence last week after his September conviction for criminal contempt of Congress. The charge carried a mandatory minimum of one month behind bars. Navarro had refused to testify and provide documents to the controversial House Select Committee investigating the events of Jan. 6, 2021.
