Here's Where the White House Stands With the Mueller Report

It's been 24 hours since Attorney General Bill Barr announced Special Counsel Robert Mueller has officially concluded his two-year long investigation into the 2016 presidential election.

When the announcement was made late Friday afternoon, the White House had not been briefed on the report.


The next steps are up to Attorney General Barr, and we look forward to the process taking its course. The White House has not received or been briefed on the Special Counsel’s report.

As of Saturday afternoon, the situation hasn't changed. Deputy White House Press Secretary Hogan Gidley told reporters Sanders' statement stands.
