Thousands have descended onto Sydney’s streets as the clocks tick closer to the start of New Year, with increased security efforts following the Bondi Beach terrorist attack.

As Australia prepares to bid farewell to 2025, the streets have already begun filling with revellers itching to get the best spots to see the dazzling fireworks which will fill Sydney’s skies.
