Whoops: Senator Lets the Cat Out of the Bag About Why the Schumer Shutdown Failed

There was finally a deal passed in the Senate on Sunday toward opening the government.
Eight senators, seven Democrats and Sen. Angus King (I-ME), who caucuses with the Democrats, flipped to vote for the deal, as we reported. It now goes to the House for a vote.

Our sister site Townhall caught this important comment from King, saying the "quiet part out loud," admitting that they caved because their strategy "was not working." It was an admission not only that this nonsense was all on them, but they weren't getting what they wanted regarding healthcare.
