OPINION:
President Donald Trump welcomed newly elected mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, into the White House for a conversation — and the takeaway moment was of Trump sitting at his desk, hands folded, looking at Mamdani standing politely next to him, hands crossed. Hands crossed like a good little socialist servant.
That is as it should be. The capitalist sits; the communist stands.
To give it a biblical twist: Mamdani is about as big an abomination in America’s political world as can be. It’s like watching the devil in church. How can a socialist — any socialist — swear allegiance to the Constitution while espousing socialist values?
“The pair say they look forward to working on affordability,” BBC wrote in live posts of the meeting.
“We agree on a lot more than I would have thought,” Trump said, after the meeting.
Yes.
Trump agrees Mamdani is a “100 percent communist lunatic.” And as Trump said: “We agree.” Mamdani , meanwhile, agrees Trump is president.
A reporter at the meeting asked Mamdani why he flew to the White House meeting, rather than take a greener route, like a train — or a donkey, also known as a three-letter word much more befitting his station. And Mamdani responded by saying: In 12 years the earth will explode if we don’t kill all the cows! Then he handed out Cuban cigars to all his friends in the media, and said he knew a guy who could get many more.

Mamdani can call himself whatever the likes. He can claim he’s not a socialist, but rather a democratic-socialist. He can pretend he’s not a communist and insist he’s simply a man of compassion and justice.
But every patriotic American knows him for what he is: a destroyer. An abomination to all that’s good in the country — and the world.
