As we reported, the U.S. and China had a breakthrough, coming to a trade deal over the weekend.
They agreed to reductions in tariffs for 90 days, made progress on fentanyl, and have established a framework for continuing talks headed up by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer.
That last part is perhaps most important for lasting change, and Bessent was very positive that they were changing unfair trade against us.
