Chang, Coates to Newsmax: Walz in Contact With CCP Firms

Author and commentator Gordon Chang told Newsmax on Saturday that despite his efforts to downplay his China connections, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has "regular contact" with organizations tied to the Chinese Communist Party.
Since Vice President Kamala Harris selected Walz as her running mate, he has received scrutiny over his ties with China.
Chang said Walz's history with China goes back to his days as a teacher.
"Go back to his contacts in China and all of those trips for high school students and also the establishment of his company, Educational Travel Adventures. Those could not have been approved without the Communist Party's United Front Work Department stamp of approval.
"And the United Front Work Department is actually the part of the Communist Party that works to subvert foreign governments. So this is a continual pattern over the course of decades," he said during an appearance on "Saturday Report."

Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are effectively tied in three pivotal midwestern swing states, according to polling published Saturday by the Trafalgar Group.
The Trafalgar Group’s surveys of likely general election voters show Trump leading within the 2.9% margin of error in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, three of the most important battleground states in the 2024 presidential race. The results indicate that all three states are shaping up to be very competitive on Election Day, which is just 65 days away.
Trafalgar has Trump up by 0.4% in Michigan, leading by 1.1% in Wisconsin and 2.1% in Pennsylvania. Harris narrowly leads in all three states in the RealClearPolitics polling average, with leads of 1.1%, 1.4% and 0.5% in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, respectively. Major Manning of Mountain House, California, was just 17 when he took a single Percocet pain pill—but he didn’t know it was laced with the deadly synthetic opioid fentanyl.
The drug ultimately took his life in 2023, and what happened to him is becoming increasingly commonplace in California.
In July, a 22-year-old Los Angeles woman, Jestice James, was charged with two counts of murder related to the deaths of her twin 3-year-old sons who died from alleged exposure to fentanyl in the home, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
The same month, parents Austin and Carla Veltri of Apple Valley, California, were arrested after allegedly exposing their infant daughter to fentanyl, which resulted in her hospitalization.
Nationwide, fentanyl is the most lethal drug in the history of the United States. According to the Drug Enforcement Administration, the synthetic opioid killed almost 38,000 Americans in the first six months of 2023. In 2022, nearly 22 high school-aged students died every week in the United States from drug overdoses, largely stemming from counterfeit drugs laced with fentanyl, per UCLA Health.

As we reported, Special Counsel Jack Smith filed a superseding indictment in his election interference against Donald Trump, “slimming down the allegations against the 2024 presidential nominee in light of the Supreme Court’s immunity ruling.”
On Friday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland demanding answers and accusing the Department of Justice of violating "longstanding” DOJ policy concerning legal actions during the height of a presidential contest.
Jordan wants information, documents, and communications between the DOJ and Smith’s office regarding the new indictment. In a social media post, he flat-out accused the Special Counsel of meddling: “Jack Smith. Election interference.”

Smith’s case took a big hit when the Supreme Court ruled in July that a president enjoys substantial immunity from prosecution regarding acts he took in an “official capacity.” But Smith, in his never-ending quest to “get” the former president, appears to be trying to slither his way around that ruling with his latest move.

It's been quite a momentous day in the legal sense for Elon Musk, the owner of social media platform X and space exploration firm Space X, among other companies. Earlier on Friday, we shared that he notched a win in a Texas courtroom, when a District Court judge ruled that a lawsuit that X filed against the progressive activist media organization, Media Matters, could go forward.
My colleague Susie Moore wrote that "Elon Musk's X Corp. scored a legal victory on Thursday as a Texas judge denied the Motion to Dismiss filed by Media Matters in the social media platform's defamation suit," noting that "the case will now proceed with discovery and currently is set to go to trial on April 7, 2025."

OPINION:
It’s September, which means the presidential campaign is mercifully in the final stretch. Former President Donald Trump is attempting to stay on message with varying degrees of effectiveness. Republicans are lawyering up. They’re registering voters and encouraging supporters to vote early and by mail. It’s a marked change from 2020.
Vice President Kamala Harris, meanwhile, is talking about “joy” and not much else, cocooned by her staff away from interactions with the press and real people, except for her first big girl interview with friendly CNN anchor Dana Bash and the security blanket of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz in tow.
Whether it has energized voter registration efforts in swing states such as Pennsylvania or a more robust election integrity apparatus, Republicans seem to have learned from some of the mistakes it made four years ago.
Now is the time for them to activate their grassroots in an effort to further define Ms. Harris as not only a radical but a radical failure. It’s time for the GOP to go guerrilla.
When Democrats do this, they stage big marches and riots. They threaten people in restaurants, go to people’s homes, attack candidates’ family members and get tech platforms to suppress information. Republicans don’t need to do that, of course.

Ms. Harris is guilty of cackling over other people’s misery, failing upward and lying her way through any attempts at accountability. She doesn’t just need to hear that from Mr. Trump. She must hear it loud and clear from voters.

Meta CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg stunned Washington this week by admitting Facebook and other social media platforms caved under pressure from the Biden Administration to censor content it didn’t like. Accordingly, Facebook blocked certain COVID-19 content as well as conservative posts including humor and satire which would have cast Joe Biden and his ‘last person in the room’ helper Kamala Harris in a negative light.
On the Salem Media Group news program, THIS WEEK ON THE HILL with Tony Perkins, U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said Zuckerberg’s admission to the House Judiciary Committee merely “confirmed what we have known for over three years was happening.”
Johnson says Biden campaign operatives in 2020—and Administration officials in 2021—pressured Facebook to censor messages that Biden and Harris didn’t like; this included successful efforts to block 2020 posts relating to the infamous Hunter Biden laptop and topics questioning Covid 19 protocols. “They worked very vigorously with social media platforms…meeting regularly with them and even providing lists of persons and messages they wanted censored and silenced from the Internet. And Facebook did their bidding.”
Although this bombshell confession by Zuckerberg validates GOP charges against social media platforms as the Fall campaign enters its final 60 days, Speaker Johnson contends “Zuckerberg is no hero for admitting what they did. He was complicit in what one federal judge says was the suppression of millions of free speech-protected postings Americans never saw.”
The spineless compliance of Facebook and other social media platforms with Biden/Harris censorship directives clearly had an impact on the 2020 election. “In post-2020 polling,” Johnson notes, “many Democrats said if they had known information which was hidden about Hunter Biden and things the Biden family was involved with through foreign governments, they would not have voted for Joe Biden.”

Speaker Mike Johnson Charges Meta Bombshell Admission Proves GOP Was Right

Meta CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg stunned Washington this week by admitting Facebook and other social media platforms caved under pressure from the Biden Administration to censor content it didn’t like. Accordingly, Facebook blocked certain COVID-19 content as well as conservative posts including humor and satire which would have cast Joe Biden and his ‘last person in the room’ helper Kamala Harris in a negative light.
On the Salem Media Group news program, THIS WEEK ON THE HILL with Tony Perkins, U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said Zuckerberg’s admission to the House Judiciary Committee merely “confirmed what we have known for over three years was happening.”
Johnson says Biden campaign operatives in 2020—and Administration officials in 2021—pressured Facebook to censor messages that Biden and Harris didn’t like; this included successful efforts to block 2020 posts relating to the infamous Hunter Biden laptop and topics questioning Covid 19 protocols. “They worked very vigorously with social media platforms…meeting regularly with them and even providing lists of persons and messages they wanted censored and silenced from the Internet. And Facebook did their bidding.”
Although this bombshell confession by Zuckerberg validates GOP charges against social media platforms as the Fall campaign enters its final 60 days, Speaker Johnson contends “Zuckerberg is no hero for admitting what they did. He was complicit in what one federal judge says was the suppression of millions of free speech-protected postings Americans never saw.”
The spineless compliance of Facebook and other social media platforms with Biden/Harris censorship directives clearly had an impact on the 2020 election. “In post-2020 polling,” Johnson notes, “many Democrats said if they had known information which was hidden about Hunter Biden and things the Biden family was involved with through foreign governments, they would not have voted for Joe Biden.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., said Friday that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is "no hero" for admitting his company agreed to censor Americans at the behest of the Biden-Harris administration. Johnson made the remarks after the Facebook founder sent a letter to the House Judiciary Committee acknowledging that the White House pressured the company to suppress COVID-19-related content in 2021.
He also confessed to "demoting" a story about Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop during the run-up to the 2020 presidential election on the grounds it was potential "misinformation."
Johnson told the "Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show" that Zuckerberg "was complicit in all of this."
"He does this, you know, admission process now because he's trying to cover his own bases and their profit margins. I mean, this is a business proposition for him, which is why he participated in the first place. But we now know the facts that we have known all along."
"I mean, we've known this for more than three years, that they were manipulating, censoring, and silencing conservative viewpoints online ... and it had the desired effect. I mean, Hunter Biden's laptop was one of the things that they, they snuffed out," Johnson continued.

We're seeing pretty astonishing things when it comes to opening people's eyes to political realities over the past few years.
A lot of people like X CEO Elon Musk have had their eyes opened up as to the role of the mainstream media in terms of shaping the narrative and censoring what goes counter to it when it comes to former President Donald Trump. Then Musk opened up the eyes of more people by buying X so people could have a platform more oriented to free speech. He endorsed Trump after the assassination attempt.
Then we saw Robert F. Kennedy Jr. trying to fight the power and the Democrats trying to shut him down. First, Democrats didn't even want to have him on ballots. So pro-democracy, right? Then, they didn't want to take him off the ballots in places like Michigan. Not taking him off would take votes from Trump. Kennedy endorsed Trump and told his voters to support him in the swing states.
The Kennedy team has come out with ads on that unity, and Kennedy's running mate Nicole Shanahan has spoken about how she's come to understand more about the Trump persecution and how the justice system is being co-opted now with what their team has had to face.

The activist media is still big mad at former President Donald Trump for the nontroversy over his visit to Arlington National Cemetery.
The former president visited the location to acknowledge the anniversary of the United States’ military withdrawal from Afghanistan, ending the nearly 20-year war. He laid a wreath to honor the 13 service members who lost their lives due to President Joe Biden’s inept handling of the withdrawal effort.
Yet, the media is choosing to fixate on an alleged altercation that occurred between members of Trump’s team and some of the cemetery staff. They are criticizing him for posing for pictures with the families of the victims in an area where photography isn’t allowed. Apparently, this constitutes the desecration of a sacred area, which means his show of support for the Gold Star families was somehow a bad thing despite the fact that they specifically invited him to be there

The modern Democratic Party operates like a Mafia family. Like the Mob, Democrats have a specific organizational hierarchy. There are the grand bosses who sit atop the entire food chain, such as the Obamas and the Clintons. There are trusted consiglieres, such as Attorney General Merrick Garland and outside super-lawyer Marc Elias. There are caporegimes, such as Govs. Gavin Newsom and Kathy Hochul. Heck, there was even a yearslong omerta vow of silence surrounding President Joe Biden's obvious physical and mental decline.
And then, as in any organized crime outfit, there are the street-level foot soldiers -- the hit men. The role of the foot soldier is to dutifully execute the orders of his principals. Often, the foot soldier's assigned tasks are less than reputable -- intimidation, extortion, racketeering and, yes, knocking off those rivals who pose a viable threat to the family's territory or prestige.
In the year 2024, so-called special counsel Jack Smith -- yes, only so-called, as both Justice Clarence Thomas and Judge Aileen Cannon recently concluded -- is the foot soldier par excellence for the Democratic Party and the Democrat-lawfare complex that now serves as the party's tip of the electoral spear.
No one should have been under any preexisting illusions that Smith was a noble lawman dedicated to upholding a neutral rule of law. Smith, after all, charged a former president of the United States with violating the Espionage Act -- the controversial World War I-era statute normally reserved for such extreme cases as those of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, Julian Assange, and Edward Snowden. After this week, however, the jig is truly up: Smith's naked politicking and electioneering have been exposed for all to see.
But let's first take a step back. Earlier this summer, Smith was rebuked by the courts in at least three distinct ways.

Experts are warning against Vice President Kamala Harris’ proposed tax strategy, which they say would threaten the future of the United States economically.
Recently, Harris’ campaign confirmed that the Democratic presidential nominee supports a $5 trillion tax increase, among a long list of other tax hikes, to the unrealized gains of wealthy Americans. Economic advisors caution that such a move would be a financial calamity, resulting in the most significant tax increase the U.S. has seen in over 40 years.
Harris’s 28 percent federal corporate tax rate and 44.6 percent top capital gains and dividend tax rate would give the United States the highest total tax rate on corporate income in the developed world when combined with state taxes. As I recently explained, workers ultimately bear most of the cost of the corporate income tax through lower wages and fewer job opportunities. Because the corporate income tax is one of the most economically destructive ways to raise revenue, the total economic cost of Harris’ proposed tax hike will likely be multiple times larger than the tax revenue it raises. The Harris plan would also increase top federal income tax rates so that combined state, local, and federal tax rates would be on the wrong side of the Laffer curve in 36 states and Washington, DC—the point at which higher tax rates create so much economic distortion that they no longer bring in additional tax revenue. Jason Miller, senior adviser to former President Donald Trump's campaign, told Newsmax on Friday that Vice President Kamala Harris's recent interview on CNN "was weird" and "did not look presidential."
Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, sat down for an interview with CNN on Thursday evening, their first with a major news network since launching their campaign for the White House.
Miller, in an appearance on "Wake Up America" Friday morning, criticized the "optics" of the interview, saying that "it did not look presidential."
He said, "There's a certain threshold that you have to meet when you're looking presidential. Can you lead this country? Other candidates in the past have had it. I don't see that with Kamala Harris."
Miller also said that the interview "was weird" and said that the vice president "looked as though she'd been called in by her teacher in the principal to say, Kamala, you have not been to class one day in three and a half years, it's time to talk about your record.' And on that record, she had no good answers."

In pretty much every presidential election since the telegraph made the quick transmission of information practical, politicians running for the presidency have, by and large, followed a pattern. That pattern is this: During the primary, they run to the right or the left, depending on the party; then, during the general election, they tack back to the center to gain broader appeal. The nature of our partisan system pretty much requires this.
Most politicians are somewhat nuanced in this, so it doesn't seem so jarring. But Kamala Harris, since her vote-free anointing as the Democrats' presidential candidate, has revealed herself to be about as nuanced as a hand grenade in a chicken coop. She's not just tacking to the center away from positions she has espoused all her political life; she's running full-tilt away from them. Former President Donald Trump is again taking the lead in the 2024 race for the White House.
According to a new Polymarket poll, Trump holds a two-percent advantage over Vice President Kamala Harris (50 to 48 percent). The same survey also found that Trump’s chances of winning crucial swing states are much higher than Harris’s.
In Georgia and North Carolina, Trump has a 61 percent chance of winning the state compared to Harris’ 39 percent. In Arizona, the former president has a 55 percent chance of winning compared to the 45 percent chance for Harris. In Nevada, Trump’s chances are 53 percent, Harris’s chances are 47 percent, and in Pennsylvania, the Republican has a 51 percent shot at the gold versus Harris’ 49 percent.
Trump is currently polling similarly to how he was in 2020. He is carrying 65 percent of the vote of whites without a college degree, 60 percent of the vote of rural voters, and 42 percent of Hispanics.
Pollster Frank Luntz said that Harris’ honeymoon phase “looks like it has reached its peak," warning that the vice president has the same “advantage” that twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had before Trump defeated her in 2016.

NEW YORK — In a new book, former President Donald Trump calls his 2018 summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki “a GREAT meeting” and threatens to imprison Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg if the tech mogul does anything this year akin to his $400 million donation to local election offices in 2020.
The book, entitled “Save America,” is a collection of pictures, anecdotes and reminiscences from Trump’s presidential campaigns and term in office. In it, Trump defended his widely criticized Helsinki meeting with Putin, in which Trump said he gave equal weight to the Russian president’s claims not to have interfered in the 2020 presidential election as to the conclusions of U.S. intelligence agencies.
“This was a very complicated day,” Trump writes underneath a photo from the summit press conference. “I had a GREAT meeting with President Putin of Russia, which was acknowledged by everyone. Then the Fake News started spreading False Stories.”

“We are watching him closely,” Trump wrote to conclude his section on Zuckerberg, “and if he does anything illegal this time he will spend the rest of his life in prison - as will others who cheat in the 2024 Presidential Election.”
Meta, as Zuckerberg has renamed his company, had no comment on the book Thursday. Zuckerberg praised Trump’s defiant fist-waving after the assassination attempt and in a letter to Congress this week said the Biden administration pressured Facebook to remove misinformation about COVID-19 during the pandemic.

Even Tim Walz could learn a thing or two about retreat, duck and cover from Vice President Kamala Harris.
Famously, Mr. Walz — the pale, doughy Minnesota governor plucked as Ms. Harris’ running mate — invented a whole new level of dodging when he bailed on his National Guard artillery unit just before it got deployed to Iraq back in 2005.
He claimed he had to jump ship like a rat down the anchor line so that he could run for political office. But of course there are many examples of elected politicians — Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii among them — who faithfully fulfilled their military duties even long after getting elected to political office.
What is particularly odious about Mr. Walz is that after leaving his unit, he proceeded to build his political career around the military service he left for his abandoned troops to fulfill. And then lied about it, including claiming combat experience he didn’t have and a rank he did not earn.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan issued a subpoena to the company that employs the daughter of Judge Juan Merchan — who oversees former President Donald Trump’s business record case.
Judge Merchan’s daughter, Loren Merchan, is an employee of Authentic Campaigns, which does political work and raises funds for Democratic politicians, including Vice President Kamala Harris when she ran for the Democratic nomination in 2020.
Mr. Jordan, Ohio Republican, sent a letter Wednesday to Michael Nellis, the CEO of Authentic Campaigns, asking for information about possible communications between the company and Judge Merchan. The congressman also wants Mr. Nellis to sit for a deposition and for a sworn affidavit that the company looked for any communications regarding Mr. Trump’s New York trial.
“If Authentic Campaigns indeed has no responsive records for the other requests made by the committee on Aug. 1, as you have asserted, the committee requests a sworn certification under the penalty of perjury that Authentic Campaigns made a reasonable, diligent and good faith search for responsive documents and was unable to locate any responsive documents,” Mr. Jordan wrote.

Special counsel Jack Smith, by bringing a superseding indictment against former President Donald Trump in his Jan. 6 case, is committing election interference by timing his action so close to the opening of early voting, Trump attorney Will Scharf, argued on Newsmax on Thursday.
"It is binding DOJ policy and has been for decades that you don't bring an indictment, you don't commit any overt investigative act within 60 days of a presidential election or any election, for that matter," Scharf said on Newsmax's "Wake Up America."
As of Thursday, the Nov. 5 election remains 68 days away, but Scharf said that Trump pointed out on his Truth Social account that "we have early voting starting within the next week or two."
"The idea that Jack Smith would be rushing this superseding indictment through a grand jury at this time shows what we've been saying all along, which is that this entire campaign of lawfare is just about election interference," he said. "What's at issue here is the fact that the Supreme Court absolutely gutted Jack Smith's case with its presidential immunity decision that came down on July 1, and he's now desperate to rescue it."
Scharf said he has reviewed the indictment. Smith's changes include removing a section dealing with Trump's interactions with the Justice Department, which the Supreme Court ruled were protected by presidential immunity.
Scharf said the new indictment still has "massive issues" that will be challenged.
"There's still a ton of presidential immune acts and evidence included in that indictment," he said. "I don't think this will stand. I think President Trump is going to have the ability to run for president as he deserves undisturbed, to the extent possible by this entire campaign of lawfare."
Scharf said he "figured" Smith would try to rescue his D.C. case, as he "invested so much into it to see it get just destroyed by the Supreme Court."
However, he said it is "absurd" that the special counsel would try to rush a superseding indictment through a grand jury before the election.
"Speaking as a former federal prosecutor, this isn't how you're trained to behave," Scharf said. "This isn't how you're trained to act. Jack Smith is a rogue prosecutor, and I think he needs to be called out for that."
He added that the cases that have been filed against Trump are "baseless" as he has done nothing wrong.

Recently revealed documents show that the current deputy campaign manager for Vice President Kamala Harris was formally the point person in the Biden White House who directed the digital censorship of conservative opposition.
It was reported Tuesday that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg had admitted to pressure from the Biden administration to censor posts the government found objectionable.
"In 2021, senior officials from the Biden administration, including the White House, repeatedly pressured our teams for months to censor certain Covid-19 content, including humor and satire, and expressed a lot of frustration with our teams when we didn't agree," Zuckerberg wrote in a letter to Jim Jordan, head of the House of Representatives judiciary committee. "I believe the government pressure was wrong."
Rob Flaherty, now serving as a chief operative in Harris' presidential campaign, was previously the director of digital strategy in the White House under President Joe Biden. A document dated April, 14, 2021 from Flaherty to a redacted name at Facebook reveals a subject entitled "tucker", in reference to former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
The confidential letter reads: "Since we've been on the phone – the top post about vaccines today is tucker Carlson saying they don't work. Yesterday was Tomi Lehren [Lahren] saying she won't take one. This is exactly why I want to know what "Reduction" actually looks like – if "reduction "mean "pumping our most vaccine hesitant audience with tucker Carlson saying it doesn't work" then…I'm not sure it's reduction."
Responding to the mounting evidence that Big Tech has worked in conjunction with the Biden administration to censor dissenting voices, former President Donald Trump responded, "IT'S ALWAYS FAKE WITH KAMALA. WE'RE DOMINATING HER ON SOCIAL MEDIA, SO SHE MAKES UP A FAKE LIST OF HER NUMBERS VERSUS MY NUMBERS. ALL OF OUR ENGAGEMENT IS REAL AND ORGANIC, WHILE KAMALA HAS TO PAY FOR HER FAKE ENGAGEMENT."
Trump's running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio, wrote: "This is a massive story. Kamala Harris's administration encouraged Facebook to censor information about Donald Trump. President Trump will fight for your ability to speak your mind. Kamala Harris would rather shut you up than persuade you. Some leader."

Former President Donald Trump did not mince words when discussing the assassination attempt on his life, saying that much of the blame for that day can be placed at the feet of his political opponents.
Speaking to Dr. Phil McGraw on Tuesday, Trump spoke in depth about the moment that nearly took his life in Butler, Pennsylvania. On July 13, Thomas Crooks, 20, fired eight shots at Trump during a campaign rally.
Corey Comperatore, 50, was shot and killed as he attempted to shield his wife and daughters from the gunfire. James Copenhaver, 74, and David Dutch, a 57-year-old Marine veteran, were critically injured.
While the incident has been under investigation for several weeks, many have questioned how Crooks could slip through multiple layers of security to get a clean shot at Trump. The former president suggested some of the blame should be directed not at the agents on the ground but toward the rhetoric of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
"People would ask, Whose fault is it? I think to a certain extent it's Biden's fault and Harris' fault," Trump said, noting that the Democrats consistently label him a "threat to democracy."
"And I'm the opponent," Trump added. "Look, they were weaponizing government against me. They brought in the whole DOJ to try and get me. They weren't too interested in my health and safety."

When President Trump reestablished the National Space Council — JFK was the originator — we had a clear, bold vision: America was going back to the Moon, heading to Mars and seeking to ensure American economic and military dominance in space. By the end of Trump’s term, the U.S. Space Force was up and running, the Artemis manned mission to the moon was on track and our commercial partnerships were flourishing.
Today, as Chair of the National Space Council, Vice President Kamala Harris has destroyed everything the Trump administration built. The Boeing Starliner debacle is but the tip of Kamala’s iceberg.
Because of this debacle, two astronauts who headed out on a short mission to the International Space Station (ISS) won’t return until February 2025. Even then, they will have to hitch a ride on an Elon Musk SpaceX capsule instead of the star-crossed Starliner.
As Space Council head, Kamala must shoulder a good share of the blame. During the Trump administration, Boeing and other commercial partners knew damn well there was a leadership team in place that wouldn’t tolerate these kinds of delays and missteps. With Chairman Kamala, the wheels and rockets have come off — there’s no accountability, no urgency, no plan.
To understand Kamala’s share of the Starliner blame, just take a look under the hood of the National Space Council itself. Under Trump, we had eight major meetings —all public, substantive and with real Q&A. The Space Council wasn’t just going through the motions; we were making policy.

Former Assistant U.S. Attorney Andy McCarthy said Wednesday that special counsel Jack Smith’s superseding indictment of former President Donald Trump will do little to accelerate his election interference case.
The Tuesday indictment includes the same four conspiracy and obstruction charges as the original, and it was submitted in response to Supreme Court’s July ruling finding presidents are immune from prosecution for official acts they take during their presidency. McCarthy, on “Cavuto: Coast to Coast,” said regardless of how Judge Tanya Chutkan rules on the superseding indictment, Trump has the right to appeal it, which will delay the case well past the election. Kamala Harris must be getting a little desperate at this point.
She finally got pressured into doing an interview with a friendly network, something that should be a normal thing, yet she avoided it for weeks. But she has to bring along her "emotional support Governor," Tim Walz, to help her out. That's pretty lame and, as CNN's Scott Jennings termed it, "weak sauce."
Harris is going to be pressed more and more going forward to put her positions out there and to sound competent. But meanwhile, she's trying to get by on vibes and unicorns, it seems. Plus, some theft of policies from former President Donald Trump.

Kamala Harris is part radical leftist, part economically illiterate. Although, I suppose that is redundant.
Both she and Joe Biden seem to think the role of the government is to open up the taxpayers's coffers and use the money in giveaways to buy votes. They don't seem to understand that it's the overspending that helped to kick off the inflation that has been crushing people. So, they keep proposing things that will only make things worse.
One thing we've already seen is her proposal for Communistic price controls. Even the Washington Post called that out as a terrible move that would harm the economy. Her proposal got so savaged, her staff has already tried to walk that back. How many flip-flops would that be now? Who knows what her official positions are at this point?
