‘The Last Thing I Would Do’: Trump Says He’s Unlikely To Pardon Himself If He Wins In 2024

Former President Donald Trump said that he’s unlikely to pardon himself if he is re-elected president in 2024, even though he could have done so in 2021, according to an interview with NBC News on Thursday.
Trump is the leading candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024, as well as the defendant in four criminal proceedings in New York City, Miami, Washington, D.C. and Atlanta. “I think it’s very unlikely. What, what did I do wrong? I didn’t do anything wrong,” Trump said. “You mean because I challenge an election, they want to put me in jail?”
