Donald Trump Salts the Earth in Combative Phone Call

Donald Trump may be banned from all the social media sites, but he’s still figuring out a way to get his message out. In the latest example of that, he called Sean Davis of The Federalist and lit into just about everyone and everything, from Mark Milley to Mitch McConnell.
When the topic of Afghanistan came up, Trump pulled no punches, calling Joe Biden a “disgrace” while also hitting George W. Bush.
“What Biden is doing is grossly incompetent,” he added. “It’s a disgrace.”…
…“Bush now goes around lecturing everybody about all sorts of things, and he shouldn’t be lecturing anybody, because he’s the one who got us into the mess of the Middle East,” Trump continued. “In the 20 years since, it’s been obliterated, and it’s probably in worse shape now than it’s ever been because of him.”
Obviously, Trump is correct in his assessment of Biden, whose gross incompetence led to a deadly and disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan among many other catastrophes in the last year. Yet, I also think he has a point about George W. Bush, and I know there are some on the right who start seeing red anytime he’s criticized.
