President Donald Trump talked about climate change, North Korea and the political leanings of Defense Secretary Jim Mattis in a “60 Minutes” interview Sunday, but it was a rare glimpse of White House decor that was the key takeaway for some on social media.
Observers were surprised to discover that the president had hung up a painting called the “The Republican Club,” depicting him sharing drinks and perhaps a joke with Republican presidents past. They all seem to laughing, perhaps at the expense of Calvin Coolidge, who hovers in the background with a slight scowl.
