Trump Tower blaze leaves 1 critically injured, 3 firefighters hurt

A blaze broke out at Trump Tower early Saturday evening, critically injuring one person inside the building, authorities said.
The three-alarm fire erupted on the 50th floor of the high-rise on Fifth Avenue near West 56th Street just before 6 p.m., the FDNY tweeted.
President Trump tweeted at 6:42 p.m. that the fire was under control, as he boasted about the building’s construction.
“Fire at Trump Tower is out. Very confined (well built building),” Trump wrote. “Firemen (and women) did a great job. THANK YOU!”
First responders performed CPR on one person, who was taken away on a stretcher.
