White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said Friday that the Trump administration will proceed with plans to deploy National Guard troops to the Mexican border, even if California refuses to participate.
"Absolutely we will continue moving forward with the other border states," Sanders said at the daily White House press briefing.
"We are going to continue working with California and we are hopeful they will do the right thing and help protect our borders," Sanders said.
