Group called Intrusion Truth has published information online about hacking campaigns

The world’s cybersleuths are investigating a new mystery: Who is behind an anonymous effort to expose China’s hacker army?
An anonymous group calling itself Intrusion Truth in August published a blog post about one of the most prolific suspected China-linked hacking groups tracked by cybersecurity researchers. Envelopes sent to Mattis, Navy chief test positive for ricin

Two envelopes addressed to Secretary of Defense James Mattis and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. John Richardson have initially tested positive for the deadly poison ricin at the Pentagon’s mail facility, according to a report.
The packages, which were delivered Monday, were intercepted before making it into the sprawling headquarters of the Defense Department in Virginia near Washington, DC, spokesman Chris Sherwood said Tuesday.
They triggered alarms as they underwent a security screening at the off-site mail processing center, according to the Military Times.

Hackers selling Facebook logins on the dark web for $2

Hackers are selling Facebook logins for just $2.60 on the dark web, according to new research.
The study by Money Guru found that Facebook logins can be bought for as little as £2.30, with the report coming just hours after it was revealed that an enormous data breach has left at least 50 million Facebook accounts compromised.

As malignant as were the campaigns against Supreme Court nominees Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas, even they didn’t face accusations as vile and unrelenting as the unsubstantiated charges against Brett Kavanaugh. Adding to the injustice is that the frenzy surrounding his nomination isn’t really about him.

Ever since German Chancellor Angela Merkel allowed her country to be inundated with over a million refugees, or alleged refugees, in 2015-16, her political star has been fading. At the time, Merkel famously downplayed worries about the scale of the migrant deluge, and dismissed all criticism of her reckless policy, with her remark that Germany “can manage”. Her enemies never forgot her imperious disdain, and they are now lining up to plunge the final dagger in her back. She remains Germany's Chancellor, for now, but many analysts are calling this the “beginning of the end” of the Merkel era.

German Police Arrest Six Suspected Neo-Nazis Ahead of Alleged Planned Attack
Prosecutors say suspects were targeting immigrants and politicians on anniversary of nation’s reunification

BERLIN—German police said they had arrested six men suspected of planning an attack on immigrants and politicians, as the country struggles with a backlash from far-right groups that has followed an influx of migrants.
The suspects, all of whom were between 20 and 30 years old, were part of skinhead and neo-Nazi groups, the country’s federal prosecutor said on Monday. The attack was allegedly planned to take place on Wednesday, the Day of Germany Unity, which commemorates the anniversary of German reunification.

Shapiro: FBI probe won't satisfy Kavanaugh's opposition
The left is willing to tear away the veneer of civilization in order to achieve Kavanaugh's defeat.
Democrats in the Senate Judiciary Committee are making a lot of noise about an FBI investigation into Judge Brett Kavanaugh, claiming that if he isn't guilty of gang rape and attempted rape in his teenage years, he should join their call.
Republicans, being weaklings, caved in, thinking they can buy off Democrats with a week-long FBI probe which we all know Democrats will immediately dismiss as insufficient. We also know that they will use the delay to dredge up a bevy of other scurrilous allegations which of course, will also warrant investigations that Judge Kavanaugh himself must agree to.
Since the Democrats’ line of reasoning is that all allegations of dubious activity by anyone holding or seeking a government job should be fully investigated by the FBI, and subjects who don't agree must be assumed guilty., here are some questions for them:

On Friday morning, two women raced past reporters and security officers and blocked a senators-only elevator in the US Capitol. They cornered Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake, who had just announced he was going to vote yes on moving Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination out of the Judiciary Committee and onto the Senate floor for a full debate.
The women wouldn’t let Flake leave until had they yelled at him, face to face, for several minutes. Anyone who thinks the two left-wing activists acted without a well-thought-out plan hasn’t read “The Intimidation Game” by Kim Strassel of the Wall Street Journal.

U.S. stocks are trading at their highest premiums to international shares in years, reflecting bets among investors that the domestic economy will keep powering past its peers around the world.
After a tepid first half of the year, the S&P 500 surged 7.2% in the third quarter, its biggest gain since the end of 2013.
Investors credit the latest leg of the rally to faith in the U.S. economy, which has shown fresh vigor this year even as growth has cooled in the eurozone and emerging markets.
