“Hitler,” "Nazi," “fascist,” “tyrant,” “authoritarian,” "autocrat," “dictator,” "racist," "white supremacist."
It’s safe to say you easily recognize the above visceral descriptors as a partial list of the names Democrats and other leftists have spewed at, or about, President Donald Trump in their endless stream of TDS-riddled ad hominem attacks throughout the last 10 years.
Moreover, the Democrat Party has become even more unhinged during the first almost-nine months of Trump's second term — with good cause: Trump is accomplishing the pledges he made to voters during the 2024 presidential election campaign, and untold millions of Americans across the country are seeing the things they voted for come to fruition.
Now, in the aftermath of the historic ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, many, if not most, Democrat political figures seem to be taking one of two tracks: remain eerily silent, or absurdly and desperately attempt to credit the miserably failed Biden-Harris administration for creating conditions that allowed the ceasefire to become reality — which is a complete crock of crap.
Meanwhile, veteran foreign policy hand Walid Phares, who advised Trump in his first administration, has a distinctly different take on how Trump managed — and in some cases all but strong-armed — a remarkable coalition of Middle Eastern and global leaders who helped make the ceasefire possible.
"The secret of President Trump's success internationally is his ability, No. 1, to form coalitions," Phares explained, Monday, on Newsmax's "Newsline."
Oh, noes! For the Democrats and their sock puppets in the left-wing media, that is.
I mean, how can this be? How could "Hitler" —er — a "fascist" — er —an "autocrat" like Trump possibly put together a broad coalition, and craft a peace agreement that untold numbers of "experts" haven't thought was possible — for decades?
Why, you don't suppose Trump isn't any of the ridiculous names the haters call him, do you?
Phares went on to explain why he believes Trump has also boxed in his naysayers:
In the United States, when they see their president succeeding in bringing together such a large coalition, they have no choice but to support it. Let's all go back to the first term when he was able to gather a very large coalition of Arabs and Muslims. He spoke to them, asked them to drive the jihadists out, to isolate the regime in Iran. He, of course, convened the Abraham Accords
Signed in 2020, the Abraham Accords normalized relations between Israel and several Arab states — the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan — representing one of the most consequential diplomatic achievements in decades.
