With Franklin Graham by his side, Donald Trump visited Valdosta, Georgia, Monday with a message for those affected by Hurricane Helen: "Working together, we will overcome these hardships, we will endure, and we will rebuild Valdosta. We will emerge stronger, more united, and more prosperous than ever before."

The skies above Valdosta were bright blue as Trump stood amidst the debris of what used to be the Chez What Furniture store. It was a striking scene, not just because of the way the beauty of the day contrasted with the destruction, but also because Trump looked like a national leader ready to do battle while the supposed actual leaders dithered and sunbathed.

Trump flew directly to Valdosta to deliver critical supplies to the victims of Helene.

Upon his arrival in Georgia, Trump did what his Democrat opponent fears doing the most — he answered the media's questions. He was his usual amusing self when noting the tepid efforts of the federal government.

"Have you reached out to President Biden about federal relief efforts?"

He didn't let the topic of the Biden administration's inept handling of the country's post-Helene needs go, continuing to beat the drum during his remarks in Valdosta: "The people on the ground are doing the best they can in every challenging circumstance. We do need some help from the federal government." Georgia is, of course, a crucial battleground state, and the lack of assistance from the Biden-Harris White House is not going to go unnoticed by the voters of the Peach State.

Many Americans will never forget what they saw and heard on July 13th, 2024, when a deranged gunman attempted to assassinate GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump as he was speaking during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

As I've noted before, the imagery was some of the most iconic America will ever see. The bullet that hit Trump traveling through the air. A bloodied Trump raising his fist defiantly to the crowd, with no words uttered beyond "fight fight fight" as the meaning of that look on his face was crystal clear:

"I'm still here. I'm alive, and I'm not going any damn where," it said.

It was such an unbelievably powerful moment, and one made even more powerful once news broke some two months later that yet another attempted assassin had been poised to fire shots at the former president until the Secret Service intervened.

While we all marveled at Trump making an appearance during the first day of the Republican National Convention, which was two days after the first assassination attempt, the liberal media sneered, with some wondering aloud whether the bandage Trump was wearing on the ear that had been grazed by the bullet was necessary.

MSNBC host Ari Melber, for instance, referenced a New York Times article on the subject and declared that he agreed with them that ultimately the "prop" bandage was a calculated part of the "spectacle" Trump was allegedly trying to present.

Talk about damning with faint praise. The New York Times editorial board endorsed Kamala Harris for president on Monday — but the real headline should have been “anybody but Donald Trump.”

The Times editors spent 16 paragraphs talking about Trump, twice as many as discussed the candidate they were actually backing.

Consider what Harris has gotten done in her career, according to the Times: the endorsement doesn’t refer to a single accomplishment.

We’re told only the jobs she has held and that she “has a long record of fighting to protect women’s health and reproductive freedom.”

Nothing she’s actually done is mentioned. Even the discussion of her foreign policy just says what the Times hopes Harris will do, then turns to bashing Trump.

The ice in Kamala Harris’ vaunted blue wall states — Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania — is cracking.

The evidence is there in The New York Times/Siena College Polls.

* The cracks began in Georgia where Trump went from a five point deficit to a five- point lead.
* Then they spread to Arizona, where a four-point Harris lead collapsed into a four- point Trump lead.
* Now, cracks are emerging in the blue wall states. The New York Times reports that Michigan and Wisconsin, where Harris had September leads of four to five in each state, now are dead even tossups.
* Pennsylvania, still dead even, can't be far behind.

A pair of Trump allies are unveiling a policy platform Monday that recommends how the U.S. should address the growing threat of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) within American institutions, the Daily Caller learned first.

Ric Grenell, former acting director of National Intelligence in the Trump administration, and former New York Rep. Lee Zeldin launched the “Protecting America Initiative” in August. It is an organization focused on supporting lawmakers by helping them pass legislation to limit the CCP’s growing influence in America, the Daily Caller previously reported. The Protecting America Initiative is introducing a series of policy proposals aimed at stopping the CCP from buying U.S. farmland, infiltrating American infrastructure and having influence within the country’s higher education institutions, according to a policy page first reviewed by the Caller.

“Beijing does not have the best interest of Americans in mind as it secretly works to leverage our food supply, economy, education, and businesses. China’s pervasive influence and malignant intentions cannot be ignored. If Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will not stand up for Americans and our country, states must take immediate action,” Grenell told the Caller in a statement.

“We need strong, precise policies to counter the CCP’s aims in this country, and our policy plan is imperative for all state leaders to secure American interest at home,” he continued.

Republican Ohio Senator JD Vance and Democrat Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota are set to face off in a pivotal vice presidential debate Tuesday night, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. With the race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump seemingly tighter in the polls by the day, this could be one of the most consequential VP candidate face-offs in debate history.

Both face their own issues coming in, but they have one thing in common: neither of them was at the top of the headlines just months ago, before they were chosen. Vance might have been better known, as he has the bestselling book and movie “Hillbilly Elegy” to his name, but if you had him on the vice presidential ticket at the beginning of the year, I would advise you to consider a career in betting.

Almost nobody predicted Harris picking Walz, meanwhile, because those who did have "Jazz Hands" on their radar knew he was a sputtering weirdo with more baggage than Kate Winslet getting on the Titanic.

But Vance faces one obstacle that the gesticulating Minnesota Governor does not: a relentless onslaught by a corrupt corporate media that will twist his words any way they can to discredit him:

But for Vance in particular, the showdown could be a make-or-break moment as he positions himself to be “the heir apparent” to Trump, said Tammy Vigil, a Boston University professor of media science with a focus on political campaigns.

“Vance has been in the news so much, for a lot of not-always-positive things,” Vigil said. “He has an opportunity here to either try to change the narrative or reinforce the narrative.”

We keep hearing a lot about how America First conservatives, the faction of the Republican Party that took power in the wake of the utter failure of the GOP establishment, keep nominating terrible candidates. Why, we Republicans are wasting gettable seats by choosing people who actually agree with our principles and policies! Not surprisingly, this is the kind of nonsense cope we’ve been hearing from these establishment losers ever since we rejected them for their unbroken track record of failure. It’s the lame rationalization of people who want the power back that we stripped from them because of their gross incompetence, corruption, and condescension. Don’t buy it.

Kari Lake is a great example of this narrative in action. Let’s get real about Kari. I’ve had the chance to get to know her a little bit. She’s terrific. She’s smart, articulate, and if you listen to her on the equally great Megyn Kelly this week – and you should – you’ll see that what she’s supporting is what we want and how she’s expressing it is smooth, rational, and persuasive. She is not the crazy woman the regime media and her jealous GOP critics claim. The image of Kari Lake as some sort of lunatic is a lie. Nothing could be further from the truth. She’s a great communicator – she was a TV journalist in Arizona for years and knows her own state. She’s gotten even better at politics this go-round. Yeah, Kari made mistakes in the past, like everyone else. Her critics often accuse her of being a nut for insisting that the Democrats stole the 2020 Arizona election, though after all that has happened in the last few years, someone who believes we ought to default to believing in the honesty of governmental actions, the integrity of the judicial system, and the good faith of the donkey party is a nut. Regardless, she’s learned from her experience and is running a different campaign this time. The reason her opponents, inside and outside of the GOP, tell you she’s some sort of wacko is so that you don’t listen to her unfiltered, because once you do she’s likely to win you over.

Taylor Swift has been at the top of the pop music charts for over 15 years. That's an eternity in show business.

It's no accident. Swift's rise to superstardom was as carefully planned as a military campaign. Her studio recordings, her songwriting, her tours, her public appearances, and her advocacy have all been carefully structured to give her maximum exposure with minimum risk.

Until she endorsed Kamala Harris for president.

Swift transcended pop music to become an American icon. Her Harris endorsement has now squandered that precious admiration and goodwill and, for the first time in her hugely successful career, she has stumbled.

It's not a big stumble, to be sure. But the Harris endorsement has opened the door to criticism and in show business, where everyone is waiting to pounce on any error you make and tear you down, it was a strategic mistake.

"Who's afraid of little old me? Republicans," Jeff Horwitt of Hart Research Associates, the Democratic pollster who conducted this survey with Republican pollster Bill McInturff of Public Opinion Strategies, said of Swift. "Her personal ratings have dropped from +2 to -35 among Republicans."

"A good lesson that it's better to be a tortured poet than a tortured figure in the political arena," Horwitt continued.

An Airbnb host in Philadelphia reportedly kicked out a group of pro-Trump ballot chasers with only one hour's notice to leave the premises after finding out they were stumping for the Republican vote.

As reported by Breitbart News, the Airbnb host confirmed that the ballot chasers, who were with Citizens Alliance’s PA CHASE program, had stayed at his rental for $5,000. Still, after a brief interaction with the group, he evicted them and reported them to Airbnb.

Pennsylvania Chase is a pro-Trump operation that knocks on the doors of 500,000 across the state.

The host asked the group about their shirts, which said “Pennsylvania Chase.” The ballot chasers told the host they “Chase ballots for Republicans in PA.”

“This is how you know the PA CHASE is over the target — being discriminated against in Philadelphia is nothing new for conservatives,” Cliff Maloney, PA CHASE founder, said. “Democrats are furious that we are finally fighting fire with fire and beating them at their own game.”

Maloney vowed not to “back down” or “let off the gas” until Trump wins in November, confident the former president will “crush the commies.”

The security lapses that led to Donald Trump's shooting are staggering, yet how they could've happened remains a mystery. AP


The more that emerges about the Butler, Pa., assassination attempt on Donald Trump, the less sense it seems to make.

And the confusion is almost as bad as the massive foul-ups that allowed shooter Thomas Crooks to get off eight rounds, nearly killing the ex-prez.

In an interim report last week, a Senate committee probing the disaster listed multiple Secret Service failures that allowed the shooter to nearly assassinate Trump, kill another man and badly injure two more:

Strong Leaders Make Life Dangerous for Enemies; We Dont Have One Now

Four months seems like a long, dangerous time. And it is, though just a fraction of the 44-month sentence Americans have endured under the clown-car administration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

Come Jan. 20, we should finally be rid of this fog-minded duo and their inept flunkies. They have engineered and employed so many disastrous policies, including, but not limited to:

1. The deadly Afghan exit with hundreds dead, including 13 U.S. troops,

2. So many trillions in wild spending that spawned inflation and taxed everyone buying food beyond our means, and

3. Willfully opened the southern border, creating a humanitarian crisis with more than 10 million illegal, undocumented, and untracked immigrants whose legacies will haunt our communities socially and educationally for decades to come.

Harris and Biden are parodies of themselves. Neither one is a bright candle on the Sunday dinner table. Someone told him that shouting and then whispering in public remarks makes him seem strong instead of like a fading AM radio signal on the Interstate.

The oldest president in U.S. history can’t remember the names of important people standing next to him. Or that he’s telling the same fake story twice in the same speech. Another cabinet member, Gina Raimondo, says his political opponent, who has survived two assassination attempts in recent weeks, must be “extinguished.”

When a TV host, attempting to display her Woke virtue, likens Donald Trump to a bug, devout Catholic Biden mimics squishing an insect on the table.

This is not leadership. It's amateur theater.

It is beyond distressing to realize that a significant fraction of Democrats profess that it's okay to assassinate a political candidate, namely, Donald Trump. A variety of news anchors, reporters, and rank-and-file Democrats seek to blame Donald Trump himself for assassination attempts on his life. This assertion is absurd beyond reason but is exactly what is happening.

Advocates for Lawless and Societal Breakdown

Even worse, in thinly veiled language, some of these pundits, who should know better, are hinting that perhaps it would be best if Donald Trump were assassinated. At Democrat/progressive/liberal rallies, some participants have signs that state that they want Trump to be killed. This is irresponsibility to the nth degree.

Do these people fully realize what they are advocating? If Donald Trump or any other political candidate in American life is deemed suitable for assassination, our country as we know it will decompose.

If Donald Trump were to be assassinated, at the least, it would throw the election into complete turmoil. The response from hardcore advocates on the right would be unpredictable and varied. We could be talking about snipers on rooftops picking off targets. Who knows what such an assassination would unleash on our country?

A Banana Republic in the Making

The longer view is worse, still. Too often, political assassinations have occurred in banana republics and far-flung places around the world. In truth, we look down upon such societies. We don't count them as viable nations. We see them as unstable, anarchy-ruled countries unworthy of our partnership economically, politically, militarily, intellectually, or otherwise.

The notion that it's okay to assassinate a political candidate with whom you disagree is the essence of what once would have been called un-American activity. From our founding to the present, it generally has been accepted that the assassination of political foes is abhorrent. Abraham Lincoln, unfortunately, took the first fatal bullet among presidents, followed by James Garfield, William McKinley, and John F. Kennedy. Others were shot or shot at, but not fatally, including Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, and the aforementioned Donald Trump.

Vice President Kamala Harris "can never be forgiven" for "erasing our border," former President Donald Trump insisted during a rally in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin Saturday, where he railed about a report indicating that hundreds of thousands of convicted criminals have been allowed to be in the United States under her watch.

"It's a total disqualifier, what she's done," Trump told an audience at an inside event. "She must never be allowed to become president of the United States … so much death has already taken place."

Friday, Immigrations and Customs Enforcement released a letter to Rep. Tony Gonzales, R-Texas, showing that more than 600,000 immigrant criminals are on its dockets but have not been detained, including 13,000 convicted of murder.

"They've never released this before," Trump said. "They never talk about deaths and how many they talk about certain things, but they've never released this kind of information. But it was so bad … these are people that have gone through the system. They're convicted. They're in jails for life. Some are getting the death sentence. But instead of that, they've crossed our border."

This means other countries are setting such people free "so they're free to kill again," he said.

OPINION:

A friend has contended for several years that politicians think we are stupid. I have routinely resisted that, but recent events are causing me to reassess my resistance.

The proximate cause of the rethink was Vice President Kamala Harris’ recent trip to the border, where she did her level best to try to convince the American people that she had nothing to do with the dissolution of the southern border despite being President Biden’s border czar charged with solving the immediate problem as well as addressing the underlying causes of illegal immigration. So far, she has managed to avoid the fact that on her watch, 10 million people have entered the nation illegally.

Nor has she had any compunction about pitching the idea that former President Donald Trump, by opposing legislation that would have allowed “only” 2 million more illegal entrants to our nation each year, was somehow the real problem concerning our lack of a southern border.

The union repping US Border agents ripped Vice President Kamala Harris Friday, claiming the presidential hopeful “ignored the border problem she created.”

The fiery series of tweets came in response to a speech Harris made while visiting an Arizona border town earlier in the day, in which she vowed to crack down on the historic stream of illegal immigration.

“Vice President Harris has ignored the border problem she created for over three years. She goes down there for 20 minutes for a photo op and decides to repeat some of the things the NPBC has said before. But again, where has she been the last 3 1/2 years?” the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) seethed.

I used to believe Ronald Reagan’s description of America as the shining city on a hill that was the “last best hope” of freedom in the civilized world. In her few short weeks as the Presidential “nominee” of the Democrats, Kamala Harris has repeatedly veered toward replacing President Reagan’s vision with a new, depressing vision of the United States.

Forget that she’s way too close for comfort in many polls to being elected the most powerful person in what we used to call the “free world” – she could do so after having received not a single vote from anyone…not even from one the millions of illegals she’s help shepherd across our southern border.

Each morning brings fresh new evidence that this woman is quite simply the most unqualified candidate ever to seek the White House…and getting worse by the day. This week, for example, she called for ending degree requirements for about 500,000 federal jobs she would control as chief executive. So in addition to demanding “good paying jobs”—most of which she would steer toward her cronies in Big Labor—Kamala Harris says “For far too long, our nation has encouraged only one path to success: a four-year college degree….our nation needs to recognize the value of other paths.”

So Harris—in the hip pocket of thugs at the American Federation of Teachers who already have turned public schools in America into barely-functioning daycare centers which crank out illiterate, socially awkward mopes whose brains can barely generate enough electricity to move their feet—now proposes to devalue secondary education by eliminating degree requirements for federal jobs and vows to “challenge the private sector to do the same.”

Rep. Burgess Owens, R-Utah, told Newsmax on Friday that 320,000 children have been "lost" due to the migrant crisis.

Speaking to "Prime News" about the migrant crisis, the congressman referred to "320,000 children that have been lost — children that are now enslaved — or in sex trafficking or labor trafficking."

"That cuts to the core of who we are," Owens added.

Last month, after a Homeland Security inspector general's report indicated that more than 291,000 migrant children are missing, House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., said, "This administration's failure to secure our border is facilitating what is the equivalent of a modern-day slavery operation."

Owens seemed to be referencing that report.

"Children are now put into slavery, and we don't think about that," he said.

Vice President Kamala Harris is facing a crisis that could end her White House chances.

Harris has billed herself (unsuccessfully) as the candidate most in tune with blue-collar workers despite one of the nation’s largest labor unions declining to endorse her. Now, she is facing a maritime strike that could put a full stop to her bid for the presidency. The Biden-Harris administration is just days away from up to 25,000 dockworkers striking at U.S. ports along the East Coast and the Gulf of Mexico. The strike would wreak havoc on American supply chains and send prices soaring across the country.

Descending the steps of a U.S. Air Force C-17 this week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stepped into Pennsylvania and battleground state presidential politics. The comedian-turned-wartime icon picked the wrong side in what seemed an odd foray into the tight 2024 campaign for an American leader.

His tour of an ammunition plant with Gov. Josh Shapiro and two other Democratic leaders up for reelection in tow had all the markings of a campaign event. Pennsylvania is home to more than 150,000 Ukrainians and Ukrainian Americans, the second-largest number of any state.

It’s all part of a major sales pitch for continued support in Ukraine’s war against Russia. On Thursday, he also had a photo-op and meeting with Vice President Kamala Harris surrounded by the imagery and trappings of the White House.

Mr. Zelenskyy’s presentation, even the appearance of favoring Ms. Harris, is akin to Charles de Gaulle backing Neville Chamberlain for prime minister over Winston Churchill. It’s not that former President Donald Trump is a Churchillian figure as much as President Biden and other Democrats are responsible for the destruction of Ukraine.

Mr. Zelenskyy’s coziness with Democrats in these waning days of the campaign puts him increasingly at the mercy of the people who have allowed his country to be blasted to pieces. The war in Ukraine, while waged by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, is, at its core, Mr. Biden’s war.

Trump says ‘I told you so’ after ICE data shows over 600,000 criminal illegal immigrants roaming

Donald Trump says newly released statistics from Immigration and Customs Enforcement validate what he has been saying for years: The Biden-Harris administration has allowed convicted murderers and other criminals to run free across the nation.

Speaking at a campaign stop in Michigan, the former president said news media could no longer hide from the fact that President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have turned a blind eye to violent illegal immigrants being released into the country.

“I can finally look at them and say ‘I told you s,’ to the fake news,” Mr. Trump said. “These are hard, tough, vicious criminals that are free to roam in our country.”

“Kamala is directly responsible for the tens of thousands of crimes committed by illegal migrants that she set free into our country,” Mr. Trump said. “She is responsible for every bloody crime scene, every funeral, every orphaned child.”

“Blood is on her hands,” he said.

This was the bizarre line of attack the vice president used at a speech to the Economic Club of Pittsburgh: “We just need to move past the failed policies that we have proven don’t work.”

Well, for once she’s said something most Americans agree with.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump, who is the Republican presidential candidate, said Friday he will seek the prosecution of Google if he wins the Nov. 5 election, claiming that the company only displays "bad stories" about him.

Trump, in his post on Truth Social, said, "It has been determined that Google has illegally used a system of only revealing and displaying bad stories about Donald J. Trump, some made up for this purpose while, at the same time, only revealing good stories about" Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

"This is an illegal activity, and hopefully the Justice Department will criminally prosecute them for this blatant interference of elections," Trump said. "If not, and subject to the laws of our country, I will request their prosecution, at the maximum levels, when I win the election, and become president of the United States."

Google did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

President Joe Biden’s worst career mistake became clear this week, and it should serve as a cautionary tale for young men.

Uncle Joe’s political career is cooked. His legacy is already lost. And this week showed it. In his first official cabinet meeting in over a year, First Lady Jill Biden sat at the head of the table. Biden was then forced to appear on ABC’s “The View,” where the hosts treated him like a child and where he admitted he is still in denial about how his own party kicked him off the ballot. But Biden brought this upon himself by making a strategic career error that might cost his legacy for future generations.

Instead of resigning a year ago, maybe even two years ago, when the lights behind his eyes really started to fade, Biden clung to power even though he was just a senile vessel, used by his administration to rubber-stamp the party’s left-wing agenda. He lost his agency. He became impotent and, in the process, embarrassed himself, especially during his first and only debate against Donald Trump in June. Biden had the chance to be honest with the American people, and shoot straight: I am too old now to be president, it is my time to resign before I become too absent and unfit.

He did the opposite: he lied about his ability for years, sticking around way even though he was long gone mentally.
