Security Threat: FBI Launches Investigation Into Phony Text Messages Sent to House Republicans

The FBI is investigating text messages sent to several Republican members of the House. According to the Wall Street Journal, someone sent various messages pretending to be Vice President Mike Pence's press secretary, Alyssa Farah. The texts specifically ask for the whereabouts of specific legislators.
Although the imposter targeted multiple Congressmen and women, only one has engaged the person.
Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney (WY) was made aware of the issue and referred the matter to the . House Sergeant at Arms office.
