Trump: Democrats will create a ‘socialist nightmare’ if they win

WASHINGTON — In his final pitch to voters before Election Day, President Trump warned a Democratic victory would destroy the booming economy and create a “socialist nightmare.”
Speaking to a crowd in Fort Wayne, Ind., Trump said America’s “single best economy” is at stake if Republicans don’t prevail in the midterms.
“If the radical Democrats take power, they will take a wrecking ball to our economy and to the future of our country,” Trump said, prompting boos from the crowd.
“The Democrat agenda will deliver a socialist nightmare,” Trump added. “The Republican agenda is delivering the American dream. Optimism. The American dream.”
