Bodies, mass grave found near Kyiv; Zelenskyy says Russians carried out ‘genocide’

Russian forces have carried out a “genocide” in Ukraine that has included the torture and murder of children, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Sunday, as new images of dead civilians and a mass grave in a town near Kyiv spread through the global media space.
“When we find people with hands tied behind their back and decapitated, such things I don’t understand. I don’t. comprehend the kids who are killed and tortured,” Mr. Zelenskyy said during an appearance on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”
“It’s important for the free people of the United States to have a look at it and understand, and see for themselves,” he said, before later adding: “This is genocide.”

Demands from world leaders that Russia be held accountable for atrocities and human rights abuses that its military carried out in Ukraine mounted Sunday, as photos of dozens of dead civilians and a mass grave on the outskirts of Kyiv circled the globe.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Moscow of carrying out a genocide, claiming that the Russian government has committed gross abuses including the torture and murder of children. Officials said more than 400 civilian corpses have been collected from areas near Kyiv, which Russian forces recently withdrew from.

President Joe Biden looking away on China's supplying Russia amid the invasion of Ukraine is not only destabilizing for the South China Sea, but the world, according to China expert Gordon Chang.
"The Biden administration knows that China is supplying material and financial assistance, even military assistance, to the Russian war effort; yet, the Biden administration refuses to put sanctions on China," Chang told on Sunday's "The Cats Roundtable" on WABC 770 AM-N.Y.
"And, because of that, Beijing feels it has a free pass to do whatever it wants in its region. Therefore, we are seeing its increased presence on the Philippines. Now this move on the Solomon Islands.

The censorship of Big Tech has truly been ramping up as of late. On Friday, YouTube informed the RNC that they had pulled a video of the latest edition of "Real America with Ronna McDaniel" between RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and former President Donald Trump. The reason given was to do with claims Trump made about the 2020 election.

President Joe Biden referred to former First Lady Michelle Obama as a former Vice President of the United States during remarks made Saturday.
“I’m deeply proud of the work she’s doing as First Lady with [the] Joining Forces initiative she started with Michelle Obama when she was Vice President” Biden said at a ceremonial commissioning of the U.S. Navy’s newest nuclear-powered submarine, the USS Delaware. He also praised his wife, First Lady Jill Biden, for her efforts working with Obama during her husband’s administration’s initiative, which Biden referred to in his speech.

And each of you, under the most difficult conditions, did what you had to do, and you did it well," said President Trump.
The conditions were particularly difficult for the U.S. POWs held at the in Cu Loc POW camp in North Vietnam.
You see, amigos: In 1967 Fidel and Raul Castro–unable to get their hands on any defenseless Americans to torture and murder at home—sent several of their top torturers to North Vietnam, where defenseless Americans were abundantly available. Testimony during Congressional hearings titled, “The Cuban Torture Program: Torture of American Prisoners by Cuban Agents” held in November 1999 provide some of the harrowing details.
The communists titled their torture program “the Cuba Project,” and it took place during 1967-68 primarily at the Cu Loc POW camp (also known as “The Zoo”) on the southwestern edge of Hanoi. In brief, this “Cuba Project” was a Joseph Mengelese experiment run by Castroite Cubans to determine how much physical and psychological agony a human can endure before cracking.

Big Tech continues to be called out for its role in interfering with the 2020 election. On Thursday, as I covered, Republican members on the House Judiciary Committee sent a letter to Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter's Parag Agrawal about censoring the Hunter Biden laptop story. Also on Thursday, Citizens United President David Bossie went on Fox News' "Hannity" to promote a new documentary, "Rigged: The Zuckerberg-Funded Plot to Defeat Donald Trump." Bossie will host and narrate the film, which will premiere at Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, on April 5, which is when it will also be available for download.
While tweets from those in the mainstream media, such as CNN's Jim Acosta, delight in mocking the film, Bossie has responded in kind.

More importantly, though, is that a press release for the documentary notes that the documentary relies "on the 990 forms non-profit groups must file with the Internal Revenue Service," and "traces the river of cash flowing from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative to a pair of 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, the Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) and the Center for Election Innovation and Research (CEIR). CTCL received $328 million in "Zuck Bucks," while CEIR was given $69 million."

A former United Nations war crimes tribunal chief prosecutor is calling for President Vladimir Putin to be tried for abuses in Ukraine.
Carla Del Ponte, who oversaw U.N. investigations in the former Yugoslavia and Rwanda, said Russia’s attacks on Ukrainian are a clear violation of international law.
“Putin is a war criminal,” she said in an interview with Swiss newspaper Le Temps published Saturday.

Ukrainian forces retake Kyiv, senior Ukrainian defense official says

Ukrainian troops regained control over Kyiv and the surrounding region on Saturday, according to a senior Ukrainian defense official, as Russian troops pulled back from the capital.
Ukraine’s Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar said the Ukrainian forces have “liberated” Kyiv from “the invader” after Ukrainian President Volodymyr noted a “slow but noticeable” withdrawal of Russian troops in northern regions of the country.
But Mr. Zelenskyy warned of a long road ahead before the region returns to normal and that Russian rocket strikes in the region remain a concern.

The United States is giving Ukraine millions of dollars to secure its border but is getting ready to "completely open up the floodgates on our own borders" by ending the Title 42 provision put in place during the Trump administration to turn away immigrants for health concerns during the pandemic, Rep. Brian Babin tells Newsmax.
"I can tell you that we don't want to see Title 42 going away," the Texas Republican said on Newsmax's "National Report."
"We've got another almost omicron variant coming, circling the globe right now. We don't need to get rid of Title 42."
