Rep. Gimenez to Newsmax: Impeach Mayorkas for Failing US

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has failed the American people and his duty to protect the nation's borders, which is why the House is holding an impeachment hearing against him, Rep. Carlos Gimenez, R-Fla., said Wednesday on Newsmax.
Giminez said on "Wake Up America" that when the rate of release into the U.S. for illegal migrants apprehended at the southern border is above 85%, which Mayorkas concedes, that shows a violation of the law.
Gimenez, a member of the House Homeland Security Committee, said the "law clearly states that parole is done on a case-by case basis, it is not on a mass basis, so when 85% are being paroled into the United States ... that shows he is completely violating the law and the intent of Congress."
