New Drone Attacks on US Forces in Syria, Iranian Proxies Claim Responsibility

Looks like we may have found out what could have caused Joe Biden to run out of his Bidenomics event. He announced during the event he had to run out to the "Situation Room." I think it's fair to say that's something that one should normally not be sharing with the public. But it's Biden, so norms don't apply, gaffes and incoherence do.
But if it wasn't to duck questions or stop the gaffes that were happening, it might have been this news — that the U.S. was facing more attacks from Iranian-backed proxies.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella group of Iranian-backed militias, said Monday that their forces used two drones to attack the al-Tanf garrison near the Jordanian and Iraqi borders, a sensitive location often used by Iranian-backed militants to transport weapons to Hezbollah.
Monday’s attack comes after a string of similar attacks on bases housing U.S. military in Iraq and Syria over the past week. In one, the same group attacked two bases in Iraq with drones, causing minor injuries among U.S. forces. The U.S. has about 900 troops still in Syria.
