Rep. William Timmons to Newsmax: DirecTV Move Symptom of Wider Problem

Rep. William Timmons, R-S.C., an outspoken critic of Big Tech censoring the Hunter Biden laptop story, told Newsmax on Monday that AT&T-owned DirecTV's decision to deplatform Newsmax is a symptom of a wider problem.

"We've known for the last decade that Big Tech, the media, social media is slanted," Timmons told "American Agenda." "We saw that incredible evidence presented in the Twitter hearing two weeks ago on the Oversight Committee.

"What are we going to do about it going forward? We have to have a system that the American people can restore their trust in the media and social media, and I hope that DirecTV and Newsmax can come to an arm's length agreement and that we can put this behind us."
